We were looking for a 4 source toaster, and Morphy Richards, Bajaj, Philips came to mind..but they had mixed reviews. My wife like lightly toasted bread, and I want the almost brown toasts..so toasting bread according to custom reqmts is cumbersome... I came across this here in Amazon, hadn't heard of this brand, so did some research. Turns out, they're pretty well placed. The product is well built, good quality all around, does the job proper.... As advertised, the 2 different thermostats bake the bread as you please...just what I wanted.. Easy to clean, easy to notice, it looks damn Sexy... PS - I bought the extemded warranty also, just so that I make sure this lasted atleast 3 yrs.

This is a great toaster, and its best feature is the ability to operate the two sides independently with different settings. For the best results, a setting of 2 is ideal for perfect toast. I suggest not going beyond a setting of 3 to avoid burning your bread, as anything higher than 4 will likely result in a burnt slice.

I did lot of research for 4 slice toasters and zeroed in on this one... As you get option of using only 1 slot among 2 also if required to toast 2 breads instead of 4 at once.... This makes it more energy efficient as compared to those, where this option is not there... Also in its own type, this is cheaper as well as best looking one. The toasts normally I do is on setting 3 or 4... So you can imagine u can go up or down as per yr wish, and it would not dissapoint you at all. Still need to see durability, as its been only 4 days for me to have it.

Working nicely

Even when used sparingly the product failed within first 6 months itself. For a complaint during warranty they want you to pay one way courier charges for sending the product to Gurgaon and they ask you to wait for 7 days! The after sales support is very disappointing.

This is a good and sturdy toaster with a very good finish. Working very well so far.

The slots are very wide and are more suited for thicker slices. If you use artisan bread with thin slices, they tend to dry out before they brown. So you only get the choice of an underdone outside with a moist inner, or a dry and palate-tearing texture with a slight crust. The reason is the distance between the actual heat source and the surface of the bread. Tighter spacing browns the outside before the inside becomes too flaky. That said, it does work reasonably well within these limitations. I've had quite decent luck with this brand on reliability stakes, though they usually do not respond to any sort of request for service. Since toasters tend to go kaput pretty frequently (enough for it to become a pejorative term applied to electronics) hopefully this time my experience will be different. Will update if I face any issues.
