Why is the Mac Mini great for me? Well, I am not a graphics designer or a heavy duty gaming enthusiast. I need to access mail, check out the net for work or leisure, get family photos sorted out, enjoy my music and sometimes indulge in some serious writing. My kids need the desktop for school work. I already have an iPad and iPhone, and therefore knew right away that this option of the Mac Mini with the i5 processor suited my family perfectly. It works like a breeze and just the way one would expect. It's not snappy fast but the UI is outstanding. The specs of the Mac Mini are good enough to meet any average family requirement without a hitch. Most laptops don't have these specs. The way the Mac responds to the Apple devices is excellent, almost intuitive. I am very happy with this CLASSY, extremely WELL ENGINEERED product. Should however have an upgrade feature available as the RAM I believe cannot be upgraded, which is not fair. But for the next two years there is no worry at all.

Very slow.

It's a good product. Working nicely and no issues with hardware or software. Purchased an video monitor adapter to connect to 21 inch VGA monitor since it can't support VGA. using it over the last couple of years for IOS apps development (not game development) and found it okay for our requirement. We can even connect a iphone and check the app for compatibility, etc.

Since the first day this Mac is running slow. Initially I thought I bought low configure mac. But later i realized this product is fake. Seller is fraud

Very good looking product, as usual Apple's elegance is seen in the design and quality. 4 stars because the box piece contains only a power chord, would have been great if Apple could provide HDMI or thunderbolt cable (or at least a converter from Thunderbolt/HDMI to VGA/DMI). Display will not work with random converters, need to buy a genuine converter incase you are using PC monitors.

I purchased it for 32500 rs and was very happy with the build quality but after using it for some days Mac mini was lagging a bit bcoz of that I had to return it.

It's too slow, and since the RAM is soldered on, you're essentially buying something that'll be obsolete in under 2 years. It'll cost another Rs. 10,000 to get an SSD installed, but you might as well add another Rs. 10,000 and buy a Macbook Air (which has the same specs + SSD pre-installed). Use it as a laptop when you want, and dock it using a display cable when you want to use with a monitor. Since the Macbook Air already has a keyboard and a trackpad, you don't necessarily have to spend Rs. 10,000 on Apple Keyboard plus magic mouse.
