This product is really great . I was able to learn to use it in the first 2 days (thanks to the sellers who helped a lot in the operation of the telescope) . And it was the first time that amazon was not very supportive during the shipping but cannot blame the seller for that as they provided the quality product that they promised . I was able to see Moon , Mars & Jupiter in the first few days and trying for Orion Nebula for sometime now. The product itself is great and I would recommend this to the all the amateurs who want to buy their first telescope . Some people have left negative reviews for eg. that the telescope doesn't work . So, I would like to ensure you that it works perfectly fine once you learn to use it.

everything is ok.first delivdry missing tray and nut bolt.return it.no qc pass mark. but 2nd delivery quite horrible, same piece sending again with a 4mm bad eye piece with ghost image occure when fine focus done for an object. paking is worse and torn like a dustbin item.(really) and open box partially. screws are loose even on focusing mirror and metal plate are hanging on the focuse mirror.itmay be crash the focusing mirror. surprisely no styro foam use for paking and accesery main box easily jerk with two pieces of heavy weight round metelic balacer of telescope on the way which could damage telescope reflector mirror.how many time jerks the sensitive item on the way dont know? i got maxm item from amazon thats are nicly packed.so i hope from amazon in future to take care for such optical item paking sincierly for prevent further damage of such costly product.but honestly three things i like ie. 1.easy replacement of amazon 2.tslescop with1000 mm fl and big apparture for good light.(highest selling celestron t.scope) 3.fantastik customer care support.

Wait for the delivery was worth it...this amazing tube will blow your mind and is worthy of every penny you spend on buying it.Be aware of fact that equatorial mount requires patience mostly if you're an amateur but the computerized versions are a bit costly for Indian users but it's all balanced by your patience.Dont know about the intensity/grade of light pollution in India but it works regardless of all the CA I had heard about.

The seller has shipped a unit that's defective. Here are the issues I faced: - secondary mirror is missing the adjustment screws. - counterweight screw was broken in the middle, and they did a "jugaad" with a smooth piece of a small rod plugged in. - packaging was damaged, but I thought that was just due to transit. In hindsight, it seems pretty likely this unit was pre owned. - tripod had mud spots in it. Definitely a pre owned unit. The telescope itself is great, but given I'm a beginner, I had to get the hang of things before realising the unit delivered to me was missing components. Sad that retailers are duping customers this way. Bottomline is that you can go for this telescope, it's great, but DO NOT order with Fotocart dot in.

This scope catches a lot of flack in the forums and here. Let me demystify some of the bad reviews. 1) Collimation This telescope can be collimated easily by eye, if you want to collimate with a laser, you'll have to remove the corrective lens in the focuser tube. If you love to tinker knock yourself out however, this isn't the most powerful scope you can buy so, eye collimation is more than enough to be happy. 2) The finder scope is unusable While I agree, it's not the best finder scope out there and lining it up with the telescope can take a long time but, it is possible with time and patients. It's also replaceable so if you don't like it, get another one. (note: it is a scope and not a finder, the image is reversed in the finder) 3) I can't see anything out of this thing You need to collimate the scope and line up the finder scope, the instructions are in the manual for eye collimation (tip: back the focuser tube all the way out when you collimate, doing this will let you see both the secondary mirror and the primary, also note, this went through shipping and if it arrived with all the mirrors aligned and ready to go, get a power ball ticket because you'd be the luckiest person on the planet 4) The Barlow is useless Please google and youtube what a barlow is and how to use them, it's not a true lens and once you find out its true purpose, it'll make more sense 5) The 4mm lens is useless See my comment on the barlow, using the barlow with the 4mm will tame things a bit, also, get a lens and filter kit with a 15mm and a 9mm lens. 6) The Telescope doesn't stay put on the tripod. The counterweight on this telescope is not for looks, you need to use it to balance the telescope on the eq mount. when the counter weight is properly balanced, you can put the telescope in any position on the right ascension axis and it'll stay put. The Telescope itself also has to be balanced front to back in the mounting hoops (youtube it, there are a billion tutorials on how to do this.) One last comment on this issue is, do not try to push the telescope into position with the clutches locked, use the controls on the tripod to position the scope, if you need to make big adjustments, loosen the clutches (should be OK because your telescope is balanced) position the scope to the general area of viewing, lock the clutches and use the controls to fine tune. If you push the scope around with the clutches locked you're manhandling the gears that the controls are attached to and you can push them out of whack, don't do this. Here's the deal, this is a marvelous telescope for UNDER 200 American green backs!!! When properly set up, balanced and overall ready to view, it's a great scope and it's a lot of fun. Buying upgrades for the scope will add to your viewing pleasure. Yes you can see our planetary neighbors, the moon looks fantastic, in a dark place, you can see some deeper space stuff. Is this a good scope for beginners? Yes I think it is, backyard astronomy is not a plug and play out of the box and looking at Jupiter kind of deal. A telescope is a pretty sensitive thing that takes a little love. If you're just starting out and collimation, calibration and generic tinkering is not your thing, this may not be your hobby, heck aside from sitting on the couch, I don't know what hobby doesn't require a little hands on setup and tinkering. Finding stuff in the sky is hard, small movements at the scope have a huge impact on where you're looking in the sky, youtube is your friend, so is google.

Telescopio acquistato come regalo per mia nipote, apprezzatissimo. È bene farsi aiutare da chi è più esperto, specie per il montaggio e l'allineamento polare, anche se ci sono ottimi video tutorial online. L'osservazione della Luna, é davvero emozionante, ma per la luna piena o ai quarti, meglio un filtro lunare. Permette di vedere nitidamente stelle lontane, come Altair, Antares, questa di un rosso bellissimo (scoprendo poi altre stelle vicine non visibili ad occhio nudo). Anche Venere si vede benissimo, un pochino sfocato, ma dipende sia dagli oculari (sono comunque entry level) sia da eventuali disturbi dell'atmosfera. La montatura Eq1, è sicuramente molto basic, i tremolii sono frequenti, anche se tuttavia, spariscono abbastanza presto. Le leve di declinazione e ascensione retta non sono super precise, ma vanno bene per imparare. Un ottimo prodotto, valido, bellissimo e che dà fin da subito, tante soddisfazioni.

Chegou tudo muito bem embalado, quando chegou no Brasil foi taxado por um valor altíssimo, porém tudo foi resolvido pelo vendedor, ele pagou todas as taxas e chegou rapidinho aqui em casa!! Foi presente de aniversário pro marido, e ele sorriu de uma orelha a outra. Super satisfeita!

cihaz kutusu biraz hasarlıydı ama içine işlememiş. ekipmanları tam denemelerim iyi çalışıyor. ilk kullandığım teleskop olduğu için yıldızları hedeflemek zor ama alışınca oluyor. Kutu içinde her ürün ayrı kutu içinde olduğu için sağlam geldi.
