Great mirrors.
I installed these on my 1999 F250. My truck has the round 4 pin connector. These mirrors have a rectangular connector which has several other pins so that the turn signals, position lights and heated mirrors will work. But the manufactuer included an adapter in the box to convert form my 4 pin to the rectangular connector. My truck wasn't equipped with heated mirrors or turn signals but it's not hard to make them work. All you need is a test light (and the knowledge to use it) you can find the turn signals in the steering column wiring harness or near the headlights.Side note: Be careful probing wires in the steering column. If you probe the airbag wires (usually the thickest wires and usually orange or yellow) you can set off your airbags. But a quick Google search of your year make and model and you can usually find a diagram that will tell you what colors to look for and where to find them. The position lights can be found in the dash right behind the Headlight switch. Also near the headlights in the front. Most heated mirrors are connected to a defrost switch and automatically come on when you push the defrost button. My truck didn't have a defroster either. So you can add a simple switch (available at most parts stores) so you can switch on the heated mirrors too. All you need is 12v to the appropriate wire. And its also easy to figure out which wire on the mirror plug is for each function. I'm not sure why the seller is so lazy as to not post the pin diagram, or at leat include a piece of paper showing what each wire is supposed to do, but again Google is your friend. I found one online in less than a minute. You can too!If you don't care about heat or turn signals, the adapter will have you up and running in minutes. And one more item. Many reviewers have reported the mirror having a small gap once installed. If that's the case they simply didn't tighten the nuts enough. The bolts that extrude from the new mirror are slightly longer than the factory ones. It is easy to have the mirror slightly missalligned where it seems to be tight but only lacks a slight nudge or more tightening and they will continue to tighten. Once they are all the way tight the fit is perfect. These mirrors fold forward and backwards. They also have a much larger fish eye mirror at the bottom than the old style factory ones. And the upper mirror also seems to be a tad larger since it is not curved as much as the old ones.Definetly a reccomend. You'll be glad you got them and your truck will even look newer!

Great upgrade
Great upgrade. plug and play 2002 f350 just have to run wires for turn signals, marker lights, and mirror heater.

I like everything but wish that the signal lights could be brighter.
I used these to upgrade the towing mirrors on my 2005 Excursion. When removing my old mirrors, I connected a small spool of wire to the in door connector so that when I installed the new mirrors, I could simply pull the harness connector back through the door without removing the speaker. The new mirrors look great, and I can see much better through the new mirrors. The manual folding and extending is at first a little stiff, but should get better through usage. I wish that the signal lights could be brighter thru the smoked glass lenses.

I now understand why some have had issues with the mirrors not fitting flush
The mirrors came well packaged. The mirror glass looks really good. No waviness that others have commented about. I bought the Mirrors with the smoked lenses but the bulbs included were regular incandescent clear lights. I ended up replacing them with amber LED's so that they don't need to be changed as well as they now shine amber rather than clear. Be careful because the way the lenses are removed lends themselves to being broken easily. Another reason to upgrade to LED light bulbs. The install took longer than I had anticipated due some fitment issues and wiring up the lights. I am installing these mirrors onto a 2002 F350 with factory power mirrors. The connector was the flat style so i did not need the adapters that the replacement mirrors came with. What I did find is that the threaded studs did not fit through the holes on the door which prevented the mirrors from sitting flush. I ended up removing all of the studs from the mirrors and turning the flange diameter down on a sander. Once I did this the mirrors fit fine onto the doors. Wiring the lights took several hours as you need to remove various dash parts to get to the factory wires. The kit did not come with a wiring schematic but a quick search on the internet gave both the mirror wire and truck wire schematics. I ended up grounding the black wire to the door and then fished the wires through the door boots. I connected the running lights to a wire on the back of the headlight switch and the blinker wires connected at the turn signal harness at the steering column.

2003 f250 great fit, need to tighten slowly to compress insulation.
After removing the old mirrors and cleaning and positioning the new mirror as well as the insulation and using some silicone spray to help watertight everything they fit perfect when you initially screw them in they're going to feel very tight but as they sit and warm up and compress the foam you'll need to retighten them a little bit and they'll have a factory flush finish as long as you get a pair that were molded correctly and of course your vehicle doesn't have any denser misshapeness. These are much easier to see out of than my factory mirrors it would be nice if they still had steel posts instead of plastic they don't feel like they bend away easily but the visibility is a night and day improvement especially the wide angle mirror.
