I like the fact that it connects instantly and starts working as soon as I get in the car .the sound qaulity is excellent as is the screen and with the add your own logo it just makes it almost oem . Great features very little lag . Great features .great value .

Added so much value to my daughters driving experience.. Bluetooth connection to the phone to a bit to get connected. But once connected apple carplay worked a treat. Using the audio out to the car stereo was a bit tricky, as had lots of interference in the audio quality... however with a bit of fiddling with the AV out level/ sound level in the settings menu we reached a good quality sound output. Overall happy with design and functionality. Would recommend for any old car. Sound would work better by linking with car head unit by bluetooth etc.

Product is good but has a few issues. If you are buying to provide android auto with full music stream and phone functionality for an older car beware. Whilst it works well for streaming and maps of you are using the FM output to send music to your car radio the phone does not route aound there so once you answer the phone you then have to change screens and choose another output device like the speaker to hear the call, not ideal. My car has its own Bluetooth phone system but I was unable to turn the "use for phone calls" option off in this device Bluetooth settings as it kept forcing a reconnect. O. The plus side the customer service help was good whilst trying to sort this out.

The good: I'm not highly Tech savvy but managed to get the screen to connect to my phone (Bluetooth) and my 2009 Merc B Class (on Aux) using a (provided) cable from the screen to a 3.5mm socket in the glove compartment. Now I'm able to listen to my podcast and have navigation on a big touchscreen in my old not-so-smart car. The phone is also connected to the car for calls (Bluetooth). All sound comes out through the car's stereo speakers. The touchscreen is responsive enough for me. The 12V cigarette lighter plug is secure and comes with a long lead. I was a bit nervous that it might drain the car battery but the power outlet is isolated with the ignition off and I've not had any problem. Not so good: The built-in speakers of the screen are OK but nowhere near as good as a car stereo. As I managed to get the screen to send audio to the car system, it doesn't bother me. I need a bracket that fits to the ventilation grills to position the screen low enough, so as not to obscure my vision. The air outlet bracket and CD slot brackets were not included in my pack. The included brackets are sticky/suction cup style which I've had bad experience with on the dashboard which is not a smooth surface. I probably could fit it to the screen but then it would obscure my vision too much. I've loosely positioned it just in front of the gear lever which is not ideal. With a vent bracket this would have got 5 stars. Lost of instruction manual pages describing how to connect to iPhones but quite limited for Android. Even so if I managed to do it then it can't be that difficult. The system gives out a little screech when shutting down (when I turn the ignition off) which is a little annoying but I'll get used to it. Build quality seems good. There is an input for a camera, so lots of extra features I haven't used yet.

excelente aparato, tenía una pantalla china que no me daba el ancho, hacía cosas raras, no se escuchaba bien, etc. en cambio este funciona de lo lindo, por cierto muchos dices que no le puedes apagar el sonido de la bocina integrada, pero si se puede desde el menú.

Works wonderfully for what I use it for. Great response, no glitches, volume is adequate, automatically find phone after inital setup, clear screen easy navigate. Heat tolerance is well. Sits on dash in hit vehicles Florida summers with no issues no shade. In a Police car.

---- Original report ----- I am using this 9 inch Android Auto monitor for navigation purposes with GalaGPS. This unit connected via Bluetooth almost instantly through my Samsung android phone. Very little lag and right on showing the GPS position on the map. I am only using it for Navigation while on the back roads and don't need the other features it has to offer, even though I tested most of them. The speaker could be louder. There is no equalizer. It didn't allow Google Maps to be loaded. I do want to change the display from north up to heads or course up.. This I can't do. My cell phone can do it in GalaGPs but on this monitor I can't do it.. I want to be able to change this and I would like the company to tell me how do I do that? No information online addresses this. This appears to be a decent monitor and time will tell how durable and dependable it is. So far it working great however I want to be able to change the display. Having android auto for navigation and Spotify has become the norm in every vehicle I drive/own...however in a older vehicle that doesnt have it, you feel lost without that functionality. This carpuride screen has been the best purchase ive made for my wifes 2013 Infiniti G37 (non nav/touchscreen car). It's given me the android auto functionality and connectivity im used to in all modern cars, in an older car that would never have it. And for the price, it's pretty incredible to be able to add this so easily. I 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to add the modern connectivity features of a new car, to any older car!
