After our AC went out, this powerful mid size fan packs a big punch! Love the three speed settings. East to clean. Powerful airflow with a quiet sound. Very impressed.

Came damaged. Still worked, but it's flimsy and cheap. The airflow is mediocre even on the highest setting. Definitely not worth almost 48$.

Exactly what you expect from a box fan: Plug it in, turn it on, three different speeds. But it's much more powerful than other box fans I've used which is really nice. Low on this fan is comparable to high on some of my others. I initially thought the fan was overpriced, but now that I've used it, it's justified given the strength of its output.

So while what you find at the big box home store might seem like a better value, I was surprised to find that the parts that normally break seem to be reinforced on this specific model. I've owned plenty of 20 inch fans (mainly because they can be used in so many situations), and I've ran into issues with blades breaking, the grill being brittle, and the feet not staying on. All of those issues seem to have been properly engineered in this specific model. The controls on top are also a bit sturdier, and the fan seems to move just as much air as the slightly cheaper alternative. It is quiet to the point where you can run it at night while you sleep and it'll just be drone noise in the background, in the morning you won't hear it at all. The handle does pose a bit of a issue if you use it on the window, but this is a quick fix by simply turning the fan on its side! Overall pretty pleased with it, and it looks like it'll last a little longer than the others.

I actually like allowed fan because it drowns out other noises when I’m sleeping. This fan has three settings, and the light one is not terribly loud but the third one is quite powerful and loud which means it moves a lot of air and feels great. Just what I wanted.

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this Nexair-20inch Floor Box Fan 3 Speed if you can get it on sale. 2. The current price of ~$48 is too high. LIKES: - Blows a decent amount of air. Noise level is tolerable - Control is super simple to use. - Fan is small. Noticeably thinner and less bulky than other box fans I have. This places this into a slightly different usage category for me when I need to save space. DISLIKES: - Fan is on the cheap side. Quality is fair.
