Would have been five star but for the gap between boat seat and mounting is too small for wing nuts to turn, otherwise a great product. Four peices of metal tubing and a couple of washers and job done.

Handy unit But the gap between seat and boat seat is small ( to tighten nuts to hold onto boat seat ) I have big hands and I find it a bit difficult - also the grips to hold onto boat seat could be more hooked to grip the boat seat cause if you lean back on seat it comes off the boat seat so iv modified it - welded lugs so it grip boat seat better also put tubes on thread so easier to tighten

Does the job perfect

This seat mount clamped securely to the seats in my Quicksilver 4.1 boat. Its best to fit the seat to the clamp before fitting the clamp to the boat's seat. Then use a tube spanner too tighten the clamp. I cut the thread adjusting rods back so they did not protrude beyond the edge of the seat. I found that stainless steel dome nuts covered the ends neatly.
