These are very lightweight, aluminum, I think. They are strong. The curves are ample and the ends are not oversized, so they hold all sizes and shapes of pot handles, plus hold coffee and soup cup handles, too. They are matte black and the powder coating is done well. No rough edges. All are uniform in size and shape. I do not know how much weight they will hold, but I'm not hanging any of my larger cast iron pans, nor any of my dutch ovens.

These are great little hooks, and are just perfect for my project over my stove. I have a small kitchen and used them to hang two wire baskets from a curtain rod to hold various items, most likely onions, garlic, and potatoes. First, these look good. They are light weight but still seem quite sturdy - I was expecting them to be heavier but I’m glad they aren’t putting more weight on the magnetic hooks I got to hold the whole thing up. I would think that these would have a lot of different uses around the house and I’m glad that the set came with so many of them. Overall I’m super happy with how things turned out, and these hooks were an integral part of making that happen. Would definitely recommend!

I love these S shaped hooks! They are exactly what I wanted! I am currently using them to hang a few of my favorite coffee mugs from my wall shelves that have a bar to hang stuff from on the bottom. They ended up working perfectly and look great!!! Very good quality, sturdy, and attractive. They match my shelves exactly.

The sheer amount of S hooks on the market can be overwhelming. As i spent 5 minutes of my life yesterday contemplating this decision, i settled on this perfectly symmetrical, and subsequently perfect, hook. They fit my handcrafted leftover scrap pot rod creation which is roughly made of 3/4" diameter conduit. The matte black finish on the hook matches perfectly against the leftover spray paint of a misc black hue, applied to the rod. The hook end fits everything i wanted to hang, without letting anything escape, or just simply not fit over the end. We have literally a 3' long section of countertop to use in our little cabin, so creatively storing kitchenware is of utmost importance. Don't waste another minute deciding between this one or the one that was a little bit smaller.

Works great for hanging my cast iron pans/skillets!

I bought these s-hooks to use in a wacky scheme I had devised which involved s-hooks inside some of my kitchen cabinets. I ended up using only one hook in that way. That left eleven hooks to play with. I started looking around my kitchen and used all eleven in about three minutes. They have made things easier to find and easier to get at while cooking. The hooks themselves are light but very sturdy. They are also attractive. I ordered twelve more of these hooks the day I received the first package because they are so handy. So, I would suggest totaling up all the places you think you might use one of these hooks and then buying double that amount. You will use them!
