Very nice kit. Well made. Looks lovely when finished. Glad to have bought it.

Be careful with string threaders!
Nylon string isn't the best for wear and tear in the weather. Not sure how Long it will last. The 2 string threaders broke; the first one half way through assembly, then just as assembly was about complete, the second one broke. Assembly is frustrating, but that's par for the course with a tubular wind chime. Final outcome was good. I guess kit is good for the price.

Missing parts.
Video and instructions are not so hot. You pretty much have to just figure it out on your own. However it went together nicely once I got the hang of it. I was disappointed tho that 5 of the brass nails to cover the holes were missing. Will try to contact the company for the missing nails however I don’t figure I’ll have much luck.

Good, not great
Not enough string provided, and the little tools provided are cheap and both broke. Had to improvise but ultimately it worked out.

They work well
Several years ago I cut some 1/2 inch electric conduit to tune and made a windchime from them, but I cut my own wood pieces from plywood and used monofilament to hang the tubes. It worked as a chime, but was ugly and stayed in the garage. I used these parts to re-string my tubes and my chime sounds good, and looks well.

Could be better
Ok product. 1: The threaders are cheap and both of them broke halfway through before I could finish. 2: The nails are not easy to put in by hand...you need a little hammer. 2: There is nothing to attach the final hanging strings to, so be prepared to hang it right away or find a ring to put on top to secure the strings. 3: Instructions were not clear as to how to finish attaching center clapper string at the top to the hanging strings at the end. 5: Bottom wind catcher piece did not have hole drilled all the way through. If I hadn't been in the middle of stringing it when all the problems started, I probably would've returned it.
