Beautiful table-like lighter that works flawlessly! The quality of this lighter is equal and or better than higher priced items, a real value!

I love my lighter it looks wonderful, I like the weight of it in my hand. however when you first use the lighter it may not seem like it is working because there is not a spark. So first try pulling down on the lever which will make the top flip up revealing the wick, then click the lever again real fast and let it sharply fly up with a snap and it will make a spark...which will light the flame.

My husband loves this lighter. All his pipe club friends were really impressed with it.

I thought the lighter was broken right out of the box. I was dead wrong. Here’s what happened. I filled with regular lighter fluid and pushed down on the lid release/striking arm. The lid flipped open but no fire. I tried many times with no luck. Then checked to see if there was a flint in it and there was. I tried to light it a more times and after many failed attempts, the lighter lit. But I couldn’t figure out what I did to make it work. A little more fooling around and I realized I was not releasing my thumb off the lever after pushing it row but when I did once (by accident) it lit. Bottom line is push the lever arm down all the way and the lid flips open. Then from the down position quickly move your thumb away. It sparks on the upside of the lever movement not on the down. After figuring that out the lighter lights every time. The spinner is fun and once I figured the technique out in one swift movement, the spinner spins as my thumb brushes by it when I release the lever arm.

Horrible lighter description gives the impression you can replace wick however you can't remove the bottom piece of the lighter to remove the wick and replace it and the wick is horrible the lighter doesn't like it correctly and again you can't replace the wick so I can't recommend this lighter at all basically once you use it and the week is done you can't replace it you would have to replace the lighter don't buy this lighter

Has a real old time/vintage look & feel, and is fun to spin. Also a fan of the rocker arm style igniter which is more fun and less fatiguing (on your thumb) compared to the wheel style igniter on Zippo type lighters. Everyone who has seen it, want to try it . . . I have received many compliments on it.

First few uses were great but eventually it stopped working and there was no way for me to fix it in regards to wick nor tank. Not sure what happened but the fact that we cant add new cotton etc.... little confusing. Previous review: Beautiful and with a solid weight to it! Took some muscle and getting used to for me to get the flint to spark it but now that I figured that out, it's easy enough to use. Lady at the store where I bought my Zippo lighterfluid fell absolutely in LOVE with it when handed it to her to inspect so two solid reviews in one!
