Microsoft Surface Pro Keyboard for Surface Pro Copilot+ (11th Edition), Pro 9 and 8 with Pen Storage, Alcantara Material, Dune

This replaced my old keyboard on my SP8. Only difference is it has a copilot key which I reassigned to another function. It works perfectly like the old keyboard including keeping the pen charged. The old keyboard works just fine but I wore the letters off the keys after years of typing. I expect this to outlast the computer.

I love my surface pro keyboard! The blue color perfectly matches my surface 11 and it feels very high quality. While expensive and I sort of think it should come with the computer, it has definitely been worth my money. Occasionally I have to take my surface off and reattach when it loses connection, but this doesn’t happen often. The keyboard functions flawlessly and I love the space to charge my pen. You have the option of laying the keyboard flat or angling it slightly. Happy with my purchase!

Mine stopped working so I ordered this. It’s exactly the same one that came with my surface. It feels the same and is a good value for the money. I snapped it on and it was ready and it looks like my original one. I love it!

Works great

Good until it lasts. This was a replacement keyboard for my SurfacePro 8. I had it for a year or so and then suddenly it stopped working. I tried everything to fix it, but gave up. The problem was after taking the keyboard apart was a broken ribbon cable. Microsoft doesn't make these things to last that's for sure. Each time the keyboard is closed it bends and eventually the ribbon bends with it too. Photos are enclosed of the attached said ribbon. Besides that the new one is great until it stops working, which I hope is a really long time. I do really enjoy the quality and the comfort of the soft keys and Alcantara feel. Very nice overall, just wish it would be better construction and quality to last a long time.

Great product

I have a Surface Pro 11 and tried a aftermarket detachable KB, it was so frustrating that I could not deal with it. I spent the extra funds for a Microsoft OEM KB and am very happy I did. It stays attached, I really like the "click" it makes, it is like telling me I am attached and not going to fall off. The KB is very responsive and the keys a very snap quick. I have had it for a bit and it shows no wear, it is holding up really nice. The touchpad is also responsive, but sometimes I tap it too lightly. I would skip the aftermarket KB for the Surface Pro 11 and defiantly purchase the OEM.

This keyboard overall is by no means outstanding but it gets the job done. It continues to let me down more than impress me. It feels super cheep and is very fragile to liquid. And will only last you 2-4 years dependingon use. Pros: The keys feel very good and premium. Cons: The keyboard feels only okay when raised up in its normal position but feels really good when you lay it flat so be aware of that. The keyboard is made out of cardboard so it is VERY sensitive to water. Even laying it on spilled water will ruin the keyboard so very careful with it. The trackpad breaks a lot for some reason. I dont know what it is but it will just refuse to work sometimes. Sometes theres connectivity issues because theirs dust in the whole where it connects to the computer so be aware. Update: I bought this in November 18 of 2024 and the connection just broke. Not broken off, just stopped working. Seems like it was built to last at most a year. Not worth it at all.
