1800 Anejo 100% Agave Tequila 70 cl

The 1800 Tequila Coconut offers a unique and refreshing take on traditional tequila. The aroma is enticing, with sweet coconut notes immediately noticeable upon opening the bottle. The coconut flavour is prominent without being overpowering, making it smooth and light. There's a hint of vanilla and subtle spice, rounding out the sweetness and adding depth to the profile. The tequila itself is gentle, without the sharpness or burn often associated with some tequilas and the finish is smooth and clean, leaving a lingering tropical aftertaste that’s not too sweet.

This appears in all the bars I went into in a Mexican border town. It's like a Glenmorangie in terms of quality and availability in this country. I was amazed at the breadth and depth of the Tequilas over there. This is smooth and unlikely to upset any pallette. Reposado and 'petrol' grades can be as good in different ways. Anejo normally the smoothest and meant for after dinner like a good whiskey.

It's a lovely taste, very smooth and rich. Doesn't have the bite at the end, which makes it easier to drink and therefore get a hangover. You have been warned. Delicious, would recommend. I had never tried flavoured tequila, I don't even enjoy coconuts but this was lovely.

Fabulous tequila. Their reposado is also really good but this as good as many that are more pricey. Keep it in the freezer and sip it slowly.

I first brought a bottle of this back from Mexico, it didn't last long. This is a very smooth and sweet tequila. I sip this like a whisky, I wouldn't recommend shooting it. The prime day deal was the cheapest I've ever seen this outside of Mexico. Definitely recommend if you want to bring something a bit more premium to a party, all my friends loved it.

Great sipping tequila, nice smoky peppery flavour, very smooth. I first tried this at an airport duty free. I’m a bourbon drinker and this is familiar because it’s aged in bourbon casks but it’s something a little different and really nice in the summer. I don’t usually buy this as it’s expensive but I got a great deal.

Ich habe den 1800 Tequila Añejo vor ein paar Wochen bestellt, weil ich mich etwas intensiver mit hochwertigem Tequila beschäftigen wollte – jenseits der üblichen „Party-Tequilas“. Da ich schon gute Erfahrungen mit 1800 Reposado gemacht hatte, war der Añejo der nächste logische Schritt. Schon beim Auspacken macht die Flasche richtig was her: edles Design, wertiger Verschluss, insgesamt ein Produkt, das man auch gerne verschenken kann. Der erste Eindruck beim Einschenken: schöne Bernsteinfarbe, leicht ölig im Glas, und der Duft ist deutlich komplexer als bei Standard-Tequila – Noten von Vanille, Karamell, etwas Eiche und ein Hauch Rauch. Geschmacklich war ich wirklich positiv überrascht: Er ist weich, fast cremig, mit einem leicht süßlichen Einstieg und einem angenehmen, langen Abgang. Kein Brennen, keine Schärfe – pur ein echter Genuss. Ich trinke ihn am liebsten bei Zimmertemperatur im Tumbler, ganz ohne Eis oder Schnickschnack. Auch als Digestif nach einem guten Essen macht er richtig was her. Fazit: Wer Tequila nur als scharfes Kurzerlebnis kennt, wird hier eines Besseren belehrt. Der 1800 Añejo ist ein runder, hochwertiger Sipping-Tequila, der sich hervorragend für Genießer eignet. Absolut empfehlenswert – besonders für Liebhaber von Whisky, Rum oder Cognac, die mal was Neues probieren möchten.

Ich mag keinen Tequila! Dieser schmeckt wie ein guter Rum. Vielen Dank für diese Erfahrung. Darf in keinem Barfach fehlen ;-)
