Flawless
I’ve tried at least half a dozen docks with the Steam Deck — including several marketed as “Steam Deck-specific” — and this is the first one that has worked flawlessly. Compatibility: Plugging in was as close to plug-and-play as it gets. No weird handshake issues, no dropped signals, no fiddling with cables. It just worked the first time and every time since. Performance: The HDMI 2.1 output is rock-solid. Games look sharp and fluid on my external monitor, with no stuttering or flickering. Charging passes through without a hitch, and peripherals (keyboard, mouse, controllers) all sync up smoothly. Design & Build: The dock has a clean, minimal design and feels sturdy enough to handle daily use. The footprint is compact, so it doesn’t take over your desk or entertainment center. I love the folding feature that doubles as a stand for the Steam Deck. Compared to Others: Other docks I’ve tested either struggled with video stability, failed to charge reliably, or caused random disconnects. This one has been the opposite experience — stable, reliable, and seamless. Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a no-hassle dock for the Steam Deck, this is the one. After trying multiple options, the BenQ GR10 is the first that delivered exactly what I wanted: flawless, reliable performance.

Easy to use and I love it
I've been using the BenQ GR10 for about a month now, and I'm genuinely impressed. I previously used an 8-in-1 docking station, but the quality of the GR10 is on another level. I mainly work on my MacBook Air, treating it like a desktop setup at home, so I needed a stable, high-quality dock that could smoothly connect to a larger screen. The GR10 has exceeded my expectations. One of my favorite features is the L-shaped USB head, which helps streamline my workspace by minimizing cable clutter. I love that they put little detail into the touch. It’s compact enough to support my MacBook securely while keeping my desk organized. I highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable, space-efficient docking solution!

Make sure to set it up correctly; read the manual
Works as advertised, but I actually couldn't get it to work in a USB4 port. It also has some weird quirks; make sure you plug it into the device, and THEN connect it to power. Otherwise it won't work. However, once you get it set up correctly it does do what it says. It's very expensive, but if you're looking for a dock meant for handhelds (not laptops) that offers 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI 2.1 with FRL and HDR, this is pretty much it as far as I could see.

Works perfectly out of the box, great upgrade/addition to the ROG Ally
Easy to install and feels premium with the price tag. If you are looking to get 4k or even 1080 at 120 FPS, this device makes that possible, and great network capabilities with the 2.5 Gbps Ethernet NIC built in. 10-10 would recommend!

Perfect for 4k 120hz cloud gaming
Bought this device to use it to stream geforcenow from my ROG ALLY to my OLED tv which supports 120hz and HDR. This was the only dock that worked without any issues for me to support 4k at 120hz. Now i can game in my living room at 120hz with no issues. Most docks support only 60hz at 4k, i believe there are a one or two others that claim 120hz@4k but the Benq one has worked well for me.

Mis advertisement - does not provide 4K 120hz out of the box with Steam Deck
The main reason I have purchased this item because they advertised that you can use 4K 120Hz Steam Deck + GeForce Now. That is not true. In the default Steam Deck mode - you cannot select higher than 60Hz for the GeForce Now. And in Desktop mode, maybe you can, but Steam Deck does not support HDR in Desktop Mode, and usability is not there as well. Gonna to return.

Not for Switch 2
Works great for everything I tried it on. Except the Switch 2. The Switch 2 can charge from it, but will not pass video through.

Faulty product?
Design itself is nice and it does seem to support 4K 120HZ VRR with HDR. However, I am getting issues with the USB-A ports constantly disconnecting on my ROG Ally paired up with a 100W USB power adapter, and made sure it was running the latest firmware. Maybe it was just the one I got was faulty but this makes it unusable for me.
