Fiber Wading Staff

Worked great for Steelhead fishing.

Absolutely sturdy and lightweight. I’m traveling to Seattle next week and needed some support for my weak knees while hiking, this staff seemed like a good option. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but it checks all the right boxes. The handle is non-slip, which is great for stability. I did struggle a bit with assembling it at first since the instructions weren’t very clear, but once I figured it out, setup was quick and easy. It looks very durable and well-made. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and confident it will hold up on the trails.

Solid piece of gear, and gives me real confidence in the water. Packs down easily so it’s not a hassle to carry.

I’ve been using this wading staff for a few months now, and have had a chance to use it on many different fishing trips. I’ve dealt with knee and hip problems since being in a car accident a few years ago, and this staff has been amazing to have so I can navigate through rough river conditions. I’ve bought a few other cheaper wading staffs in the past, but after using this one, I won’t be buying anything else. The folding mechanism is really easy to use. I can extend it quickly and easily whenever I need to use it, or I can fold it up and carry it in my pack when not needed. It’s extremely lightweight so it doesn’t add any weight to my pack, but it’s still very strong and sturdy. The premium cork handle is a nice feature too, which makes it comfortable to grip even when wet, compared to the rubber handles that most other cheaper brands use that become slippery when wet. Overall, I’m super happy with this staff, and it’s been a great investment to ensure I can go fishing safely, and comfortably. Definitely a must-have for me, and I bring it with me on every fishing trip.
