Runs great with my spectrum firma 6500kv brushless and 3s it seems to have decent quality and power I have no complaints and it's super good for the price, I even bought a second one for another project.

This ESC has a slight delay in forward throttle right after braking, however, It does not happen when starting from neutral. May be a built-in safety feature. The combo includes the programming card, pocket travel case, Deans/XT60 adapter and a small 2pin micro JST cable for some sort of telemetry? On 3S it runs fine with a 3900kv motor. It does the job for a cheap ESC. It's easy to install and program. Anyway I received a used product and am returning it. You could see the dirty connector and scuffs all over the ESC and program card. Even the fan cover is bent downward from someone pressing on it while installing it in their vehicle. Overall I like the design as the capacitors are integrated inside instead of dangling on a cable. I got a replacement already and am satisfied with the performance and value. That said, if the price were higher, I'd just skip it and get the Hobbywing 60A.

After 5 runs it seems to be great. Glad i spent the 2 extra bucks for the programming card. Packaging was my favorite part. It came in a cool little zip up case.

My transmitter from my arrma fury died under warranty. So while waiting on a replacement, I ordered an dumborc controller and this speed controller. I got everything connected yesterday and have been driving it around the yard today. The installation was pretty straightforward except that when I got it connected the Forward and reverse were backwards. I thought the solution was to flip the switch on the controller to switch the Forward and reverse but when I did that the brake also moved. In other words, my break did not function when going forward, but did function when I was in reverse. The instructions that came with the ESC are quite bad. Anyone who plans to install this should be able to reference YouTube. The solution was to switch two of the leads on the motor. This effectively made the motor reverse direction and did not affect the break so this solve my problem. Programming of the ESC was not very difficult, even though some of the words on the programming card were a little confusing. Everything seems to be working just as I expected. I am happy with it.

Worked for 2 days and then threw smoke. It was fast not sure why it stopped. Maybe just a bad one out the box...

It took several attempts to find the 'right' parts for my RC10GTe conversion. I went into this conversion with absolutely NO CLUE about what to buy and how to set it all up. I bought a couple ESC/motor combos that were junk out of the box or were not appropriate for my goals with the truck. So, I started looking for a standalone ESC, and came across this unit. I found that it was better built than other ESCs I had used, and the fan is powerful and quieter, too. It was critical that it supported 3s batteries, too. It plays nice with a 3300Kv 3660 brushless motor. I liked that this ESC came with shrink tube to identify the wires after you set it up as well as double sided tape to mount it. The throttle pairing/calibration is quick and easy. I can't speak to the longevity and durability of this unit, it has only an hour of use on it at the moment.

super high quality feel and VERY quiet. its smooth and fast on 3s. Touch of a delay in throttle response but its sensorless and costs 30 bucks so i think that's more than justifiable. turned my granite in to a wheelie BEAST on my spectrum firma 4000kv. just be careful if your going reverse then get on throttle it doesn't brke, it switches direction and will shred gears i now need a new spur gear. overall very good and more that worth the money. UPDATE- On like my 5th pack (first of the day) the thing just cuts out five minutes into the run. It does this on 2s and 3s so I don’t know what’s happening. Maybe defective, but is only good till it stops working in a few days.
