argon connection is not compatible with my Thorcraft Single Stage 2 Gauge Argon regulator, I had to get another connector fitted to allow use of this tig torch with my regulator, other than this, the torch does what it says on the lid. caveat emptor !

I wouldn't say this would be an upgrade to the torch that comes with a more expensive welder but probably an appropriate replacement if you've broken it. if you've got a cheaper/unknown brand then this might be worth looking at if you want to upgrade. It comes with swappable connectors to the welder itself which is nice, reassuring it will fit yours if it's the larger or smaller. It also comes with two ceramic heads and 2 collets to hold the electrodes The torch itself is slightly goosenecked so you can angle it slightly to suit the way you hold the torch, and it swivels at the cable connection so you're less likely to get caught up mid weld. The best feature is the integrated power adjustment button in the torch handle itself. So you don't need a foot pedal or try to fit an aftearket mod on the torch. All in all I think this is a great torch for your Tig - probably a good upgrade for most people and a respectable replacement for any of those with higher end rigs.
