Poe The AI Story Bear

I bought Poe The AI Story Bear for my niece, and she absolutely loves it! The bear is adorable, and the interactive storytelling feature keeps her engaged for hours. She’s so excited every time it “talks” and tells a new story, and it’s helped spark her imagination and love for reading. The quality is excellent—soft, cuddly, and well made—so it’s perfect for hugs as well as playtime. This has quickly become her favorite toy, and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Highly recommend for any child who loves stories and cuddly friends!

I purchased this for my granddaughter who is 4 years old. The AI Story Bear is one of the best available because YOU can make up full length stories from scratch (with AI assistance) and you can save your favorite stories. The bear's color is very realistic and for the money, has great entertainment value. It is very easy to use and provides hours upon hours of fun and enjoyment while developing the creative imagination of a toddler.

The product application doesn't work and had to send a support ticket on it. Its rating is 1 so I doubt it will be resolved

POE will earn a place in toy history. Even Forbes magazine lamented finding anything AI available for Christmas! That makes Poe something of a rarity for 2024. Powered by Open A.I., the bears have expandable capabilities and purchasable modules that I wasn't aware of until I read the packaging. The POE AI STORY CREATOR app is a free download and the toy includes basic and premium cloud AI supported features. There's support for over 40 languages and is 100% safe content for children. It's suggested for ages 4+. It needs 4x AA batteries to work. They are not included. It's very tempting to simply put these away as an investment since these are the amongst the very first AI devices/toys to be available and could very well become a collector item. But I'm going to fulfill my original intent of buying a couple of these bears to be donated to the local Firefighter's Christmas toy drive. Being able to fire the imagination of a child is a priceless investment.

Gift for 4 year old. She liked it a lot at , but as kids do, she lost interest after a couple of days. Still would recommend. Can create neat stories and it is something that gets them away from screens

This bear is super cute! My granddaughter absolutely loves it! It tells wonderful stories and incorporates my granddaughter's name and it keeps her interested. It was easy to get started and the app walks you through everything. This was an awesome purchase and I would buy this for another child.

I know other reviews have said it didn't connect but I had no issues connecting it to my phone. It's not really AI, there are so many different combinations of story elements to pick from, it connects to your Bluetooth so you can play music, or even find children stories on YouTube. The bear itself is adorable, not as soft as it looks but it's not a bad material by any means. My 6 month old absolutely loves it and my 9 year old loved picking things to add to the stories. I've only had it for a day so I don't know if my thoughts will change, but right now it's definitely one of my favorite things my children received for Christmas

So I bought this because it is an AI toy, how cool, and I have a 6 year old who this could work for. It does not necessarily work straight out of the box and has some learning curve. It will probably need to have multiple firmware updates after bought, and the final one froze my device. After exiting device, I was able to continue. You can create so many combinations of stories, it would be hard to get tired. I think from this aspect it is a success. However, just look at the other customer reviews, it may or may not work how you think it will work. The two things I have not figured out: 1) I cannot get the bear to tell me a story no matter if I download or whatever. I don't want my smart device telling me the story every time. 2) The 75 token limit is not fully explained. The word unlimited is thrown around. But what happens if the kid has created 75 stories. Is that it? Do we have to purchase more tokens? Can we delete old stories we are tired off and fill with new stories?

The initial set-up of the app is bit judgemental but you just got to perceivere with it. Its working perfectly fine for now just the app needs upgraded for easy use
