Great product 👦🏻👍🏻!
This is a plug and play item with minimal hardwire connections for the reverse light option. However, I didn’t want to see any 4-way flat wire showing, so I decided for a hidden full hardwire connection. It took some thinking to figure out the correct wire to link it to, but the end result was much better. To sum up, this product looks great 👦🏻👍🏻! FYI, the blinkers/brake lights on things don’t work if you have it in reverse, however, the reverse lights are bright Another good feature is the initial animation on my TUNDRA , it almost looks like the knight Rider, but I wish they will make an uptightion

Beautiful Light Bar
I really enjoyed having the True Mods 60 Inch Smoked Triple 3 Row LED Tailgate Light Bar Strip on my 2016 RAM 1500. Installation was incredibly easy and quick. It was decently bright during the day and looked very nice at night. The smoked housing almost disappeared in the tailgate and made a stealthy look. The sequential turn signals were eye catching and looked amazing. I am sorry to report that I traded my truck in and did not remove this light bar. I will be purchasing one for my new truck once I get confirmation there are no compatibility issues.

Great light strip
The installation wasn't too bad. For 2019-2025 Rams you need to put a few pieces of foam tape or something behind the brackets of the light strip to make them stick out far enough to lay flat due to the wire that comes out below the tailgate. I tapped into the reverse wire on my trailer plug for the white reverse lights to function. I recommend using a 7 pin to 4 pin uscar trailer adaptor that way you don't alter the factory wiring and still have your 4-pin plug available. I accidentally purchased the smoked lens but they are still bright. The red and white lights both look great and the sequential signal is a nice touch.

Good product, with some minor flaws
This light bar is a good product, it works as advertised, it's bright and "intelligent" in the sense that it manages to drive turn signals and brake lights separately, with a 4-pin connector (in a typical 4-pin setup, turn signals double as brake lights). Installation is super simple, you have the option of using the double-sided tape or the metal clamps (both included). The wiring harness is well-made, the connector is molded on and there are no exposed wires. The aluminum bar itself is also solid and shows little flex. A couple minor flaws: 1. Where the wiring harness meets the light bar, the 4 wires are protected only by thin heat-shrink tubing. It looks unrefined and it introduces a point of weakness, because the 4 wires bend easily. 2. The double-sided tape is average quality (definitely not 3M VHB), it's already attached to the bar for its entire length, and it's a major pain to remove, should you need to (I did).

Definitely dont recommend these
Easy to install but didnt make it that far. I prepared my truck then plugged the lights in to test them. They look cloudy and as soon as i used the turn signal my truck flashed a warning and bar didnt work, so disconnected. 3m didn't hold so didn't have to worry about that either. Very disappointed

Poor quality Plug - but can be corrected
I bought the 3 LED split version and it did not work, it was sporadic. When setting up on 2 vehicles where I knew the plugs worked it yielded different results. The running lights would go on/off and only the left blinker would work - at times. Once I picked up the wiring, the right blinker started working so i realized if I squeezed the plug on the light or slightly bent it, the lights would work until I released the pressure indicating a problem inside the molded plug. So it was time for my curiosity of reverse engineering items to take a look. What I found I tried to make a picture but my phone does not make good macro photos. I tor back the molding on the plug to reveal the wired connection. What I found was they had crimped maybe a 22ga wire into a trailer plug that is made for a 14ga wire. There is just no way to crimp a connector that large down on that small of wire without loosing connection when moved, even when molded around it. - Short cuts where taken. After removing the molded plug and exposing the wires I retested the lights and they worked as expected. so there are two possible solutions. 1. Cut the molded plug off and replace with a new plug and make sure to solder the connections for a more secure connection. I have an older 1999 van and plan to upgrade to the newest trailer plugs to include reverse light, so an adapter will work. 2. Simply splice the wires into the existing vehicle trailer plug. Realizing you are going to be splicing a small wire into a larger wire and the thin wires used in the light can break. So be sure to make a solid splice. Once I get the parts in and update my vehicle I will try and upload a picture of how it was done. NOTE: The black wire in the lights is not ground, for some reason it is the blue wire. never trust colors from overseas products, always verify.
