This USB Bluetooth adapter is excellent quality! The audio is SO clear. Using Debian GNU Linux, it is plug n' play. The adapter can send files easily up to the 10m spec. I can connect more than one device and choose which one to send to or receive from. Simply brilliant. Excellent VFM

Works No problems. Works with Linux too

I bought this because the discription says, "works with 8.1 7 Linux Desktop Computer". I have a 5 year old desktop computer that had been running Windows 10. I installed Linux on the computer and wanted to add Bluetooth capability. The adapter arrived with packaging that stated that it would work with multiple versions of Windows but there was no mention of Linux. I was able to make it work, after searching the web for instructions and banging keys. So yes it can work with Linux but you should expect to do some digging and head scratching.
