I think they just blended the dead rat smell with sickeningly sweet lilac smell - which was a slight improvement. Short of tearing the house down to find the rat, we're going to have to wait it out I think. Brutal.

So, smelled a smell in my mum’s airing cupboard. It stank of dead mouse (had a sniff years back of a dead one and never forgot) anyways I couldn’t tell her as she is so scared of mice/rats. It must’ve died under the floorboards. Smell was quite strong so trusty Amazon to the rescue. This Rentokill sachet is very strong but not overpowering. It helped to ease the smell until the mouse probably fully decomposed. Left a nice fresh scent and masked the awful stench.

Bought two of these to cover up the smell of a dead rodent until the house, placed these in the location where the smell was coming into the house (under the kitchen units behind the kickboard) - although it didn't eliminate the smell completely, it has masked it with its own aroma so it does make living in the house now bearable! Recommended.

Had awful smell in the bathroom, def a dead !!!! Googled how to get rid of dead animal odour. And odourless Chacoal sachets bags came up. Ordered put them under the floor boards and smell disappeared within about a hour⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

It does the trick. good for suppressing some of the intense bad smells.
