Small but Sturdy Tripod Base That Adds Great Stability
I bought the Manbily Mini Tripod Base for Monopods to give my monopod a bit more stability during shoots, and it has been a solid addition to my gear. The tripod base is well built and feels sturdy despite its small size. It attaches easily to the bottom of my monopod and locks securely in place. Once deployed, the three legs provide a stable platform that helps keep the monopod upright without having to hold it, which is especially useful during long sessions or when I need to set up quickly between shots. The legs fold up compactly around the monopod, so it doesn’t add much bulk when I’m on the move. I also appreciate that the feet grip well on different surfaces, from grass to pavement, without slipping. Overall, this base has improved the versatility of my monopod and makes it much easier to set up stable shots without carrying a full tripod. It’s a simple, effective accessory that’s well worth the price.

Not rigid. Won't stay vertical.
Ok, it's not really bad, if you don't actually need the monopod to stay upright without support. There are probably times when it would be beneficial to be able to move the monopod around on the base. If that's what you're looking for, this would be great. BUT, and I emphasize but, if you thought this was something you could put on the bottom of your monopod and that it would be a stand- alone device like a tripod, this is not it. It's flexible, just like it would be if you didn't have it at the bottom of your monopod. Why they made it this way I don't know. Maybe they expected the user to need something to prevent the monopod from sinking into sand? Also it would be great if when you fold up the legs you could use it as a monopod, but you can't. You actually have to remove it in order to revert to a monopod. Why they put a rubber bumper on the middle bottom I'll never know, because it never hits anything either in the folded or extended position. Well made but pretty useless in my opinion.

Good but not so good.
Really like the extra stability it gives the monopod. Only issue for me is the tightening collar won't stay tight allowing the ball head to come loose and monopod won't stand on its own.

I have the mono pod which for the price is excellent so decided to get the tripod base. I've got to be honest I'm not exactly enthralled by it. I cannot see any means to tighten it to the base of the mono pod solidly and I do not like the locking situation if pod is on an angle. Then again can't grumble at the price so I'll give it the stars.
