A powerful addition to migraine toolbox
As someone who has battled chronic migraines for 4 decades, I've tried just about everything. I have to say the Headaterm2 has been a surprisingly powerful addition to my migraine-fighting toolbox. For me, the Headaterm2 has significantly reduced the intensity and frequency of my attacks. I use it at the first sign, and often it can stop it in its tracks or, if not stop, at least lessen its severity. After using it initially to stop attacks, I’ve shifted my daily routine to include it as a daily preventive with short, low intensity sessions every morning. I’ve definitely noticed a difference. I appreciate the non-medicated approach. It takes some getting used to. Best advice I read and used was “lean into it.” The first jolt when you activate it still kind of startles me. But I lay down, turn on a relaxing podcast/music and meditate while it does its thing. It works for me. It's easy to use, and the device itself is surprisingly comfortable to wear. The electrodes it comes with have longevity if you prep your skin as instructed before using and take care of them as directed. And the headband that comes with the Headaterm helps further extend the life of the electrodes. This is much appreciated! Pros: * Simple and intuitive design. Read the instruction booklet. It IS easy to use, once you understand how to use it. The Headaterm device runs for 60 minutes. If I want a shorter session, I activate the device and start a timer on my phone so I know when to turn it off. Not gonna lie, sometimes it feels so good I fall into a lull, turn the timer off and just end up completing a full 60-minute session. Its packaging is fantastic. I haven’t taken it anywhere with me. But it does seem to be built to be able to be used on the go with relative ease. Satisfactory Battery Life. I make sure to charge it after every 4-5 uses. I made the mistake early on of waiting until it was low. The reminders during the session that the battery is low are gentle but definitely impacts my ability to “lean into it” and relax while using. So now I’m very proactive about making sure it’s charged on a regular schedule. Based on my experience, the best charging experience is through computer USB connection. Price. I had my eye on both Headaterm and the higher priced device for some time, evaluating and considering if I wanted to try either one. The higher price of the other device gave me considerable pause. The price point on Headaterm made it a safer choice. I'm quite satisfied with my choice. Size/Weight of Unit: Again, compared to reviews of the other higher priced device, Headaterm appeared smaller and lighter – which is important to me. I’ve never used the other device, but I am VERY happy with how Headaterm performs in this area and am not interested in checking out the other device for comparison. Possible Con: Lack of Programmability/Bluetooth Connectivity: Weighing all the options, I personally don’t find this a con. But some people might. I like the ability to manually control my sessions and not have to deal with bluetooth connectivity issues I've read about with the higher priced device. One frustration averted in my mind. Overall: For me, the Headaterm2 isn't my miracle, but it's a powerful tool. Frankly, it’s one of the best I’ve found in years.

One of the best tools in my migraine kit
I'm so glad I purchased this. It definitely helps me with my migraines. It's easy to use and I can make the electrodes last several uses. The charge lasts usually a couple sessions for me, but I use it at full strength so that doesn't surprise me. The electrodes aren't as sticky after being used a few times, but the included headband helps them maintain contact and grip for a few more sessions before replacement. For me, this doesn't fully break a migraine, but it significantly dulls it when I use it and for a few hours afterwards. It's still another helpful tool in my migraine kit. I like that it included a case, I bring it with if we travel. I've used tens before, it feels similar to that but depending on what level you use, it can be a fairly strong sensation. Personally, I like that feeling and find TENS and similar to be an effective option for me. It's a smaller item, and weighs almost nothing.

Worth a try if you are suffering from migraines! Especially for the price
As someone who regularly uses the Cefaly device and has also tried the HeadaTerm 1, I was curious to see how this migraine relief device would compare. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised! The biggest plus is its compact size—it stays in place much better than other devices, even if you move your head, so you can walk around or even fall asleep with it on and it can just do its thing without getting fussy. It also comes with six adhesive pads, which is a great value and makes it easy to get started right away. The device only has one mode, which isn’t clearly explained—at first, I wasn’t sure if there were separate modes for prevention and acute relief. Easy once you get it, but confusing in the moment. Also, adjusting the intensity levels can be confusing; there’s no clear indicator of what level you’re on, and getting up to the maximum setting (level 9) takes some trial and error. Ironically it seems all migraine related devices make noise and flash lights, but this beeps bit louder than I’d like during operation. Despite these small issues, I think it’s a solid entry-level device to see if this kind of treatment works for you—and a good backup if you already use something like Cefaly. I’ll look forward to having it as part of my migraine toolkits.

Dangerous Product - Feels like a chemical burn, not TENS!
eadaTerm-2 Migraine Relief Device (e-TNS) Dangerous Burning Sensation: This device is honestly terrifying. I started on Level 1, and it immediately felt like it was burning my forehead. It wasn’t a "tingle, it felt like my skin was actually being burned. 2. Husband Had It Even Worse: He tried to see if it was just me and moved it up to Level 2, and he had the exact same experience. It burned him badly as well. We had to take it off immediately because the pain from the "treatment" was worse than the migraine itself. 3. Nothing Like Real TENS: I’ve had professional TENS therapy on my neck and shoulders during physical therapy, so I know what electrical stimulation is supposed to feel like. This felt nothing like that. Not even remotely close. I have never felt a burning sensation like this from any other therapeutic device. 4. Makes Migraines Worse: It turns on just fine, but that’s the only thing it does right. It doesn't help with migraine pain at all; in fact, the burning sensation made my head throb even harder. 5. Don't Trust the Reviews: I am convinced all those five star reviews are bought or fake. There is no way people are using this safely. This shouldn't even be on the market. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this, it’s a waste of money and physically painful to use. This device is a hazard that burns the skin instead of relieving pain; do not buy it.

The Heada Term-2 had been purchased last November 2025. In January the device could not be charged anymore. The company stated that they have an improved battery version with enhanced endurance. They confirmed that device is still under their quality warranty. 4th of March I asked again for a replacement shipment. The answer was “please rest assured that the shipment is progressing normally”. Until today the 25th of March no sign of a replacement shipment.

This device is amazing although I must admit to referring to it as the torture machine haha. I have been using it for just over a week now and using it numerous times a day for chronic migraines. I had no idea my head was that painful until I started to use this and felt the relief. It does say that you can get up to 10 uses from one strip however I have found that making sure my skin is cleaned and clean the strip afterwards, keeps it working fine. I haven't had to change it yet and have used it for quite a few hours. A bit of hand sanitiser does the trick to clean it as long as you are careful. My one gripe is the battery doesn't last long however it would be a much larger unit if it did so I am happy enough. I have noticed that the pain is not nearly as intense now that I have used it for a while so something is working. It doesn't pull so much on the muscles round my eyes and forehead so they are easing off. The box is great to keep everything together and the headband makes sure it stays in place once the stickiness has worn off a bit. No wires means that you can carry on with your day. I do tend to turn it up to what is almost intolerable but after a couple of minutes the pain isn't nearly so bad and I can relax, to a degree, again. If you suffer migraines, I wouldn't hesitate to try this rather remarkable little gadget. Any relief without medication has to be positive although it may not suit everyone. My only query really i,s if it is sold as a medical device, why is there no ability to claim zero tax but it is a Canadian product so perhaps that is the reason.

The Headaterm 2 was purchased to alleviate occasional migraines, but, more so, to help with unexplained forehead neuropathy or Trigeminal Neuralgia. Initially, the Cefaly device was recommended by a Neurosurgeon; however, after discovering this device at a much lower price and being more compact than the Cefaly, together with the high reviews, I ordered it. Upon receiving the product, I noticed that it was packaged and presented nicely. As long as the forehead is clean, the electrode adheres well, and, after use, wetting it slightly before storage in its packet seems to prolong its life. My package included a few electrodes. More so, the Headaterm device adheres sturdily to the electrode, and I did not find the included headband necessary. Using the Headaterm is comfortable and effective. The appropriate intensity level, adjusted by pushing the button on the device, is obvious, as higher settings feel too intense. Using it even every other day feels effective at reducing my forehead sensations, and preventing severe migraines. This device, or any similar device, does not provide a cure, but it helps, albeit for a reasonable price. Customer service by the manufacturer is prompt, helpful, courteous, and friendly too. As such, I recommend this device to help with migraines and forehead neuropathy, especially over the much more expensive and seemingly cumbersome competition!

Unfortunately the device simply did not work, it wouldn't charge and was completely inactive - pressing the control button didn't do anything, no indicator light or any activity at all. It's a real shame as we'd hoped it could be useful. So we sent it back and reordered another one, but both had this same issue so I'm not sure if it's a faulty batch? We tried charging it using the cable supplied, and even attempted to use other cables and charging ports in case those were the problem, but nothing worked.
