Excellent product. Extremely simple installation. When installing a dash cam, avoids running and hiding long cords around the perimeter of your windshield down to your 12 V outlet, if you have a smart display review mirror in your vehicle.

This works with my 2024 Subaru Outback Touring trim with the rearview mirror that's also a screen and the three-camera EyeSight configuration.Dongar was sold old, so I took at risk and bought from this random companyPros:* It works* It's availableCons:* Disconnect lever to unplug male adapter doesn't work, needed to use a pry tool to re-connect it* USB-port is hardwired, this makes it difficult to install it so that it's accessible outside the mirror housing. I wish I had gotten a version of this with a plug for the USB port.

Purchase this for my 25 Tacoma SR5 model. My specific truck does not have the auto dimming mirror period but it does still have the wire connection behind the mirror. Plugged it in and the dash cam turned on just fine..

I tried to use this on my 2020 Subaru and the power would not go through to the dash cam. I tried using other items to see if it would work but still did not have power going through it.
