Great kvm
One of the best investments. Now I can use my personal laptop and my work laptop and switch between them easily.

No what I expected, disappointed.
I love UGREEN products but I should of listend to the reviews. The display quality and options are not ideal for those running Macs. The resolutions are limited for larger monitors and the switching between computers requires some configurations for it to run smoothly since only one machine is powered at a time. Will most likely be returning. Also, this product is not listed under the manufacturers website so trying to download any firmware updates is not likely.

Good attentional to detail - lacking features which makes it questionable value
There is a lot to like about this KVM dock. First, it's quite compact and sleek looking. It comes with a high-quality power supply and cable set. Everything *just works* out of the box without having to consult the manual. I tried it with a variety of laptops even those that have had compatibility issues with other docking stations and it switched back and forth between them with no glitches and engaged power delivery to charge the active laptop every single time. One attention to detail I liked was color-coded cables - It ships with two USB-C cables - one for each laptop. One cable has black strain-relief and the other has white. Such a simple thing to do and immensely helpful when routing the cables so you remember which laptop is which. Impressive. So it is a good device, but not great and that is due to the sub-optimal port choices - Ugreen has HDMI + HDMI/DP (3 ports for 2 monitors max). I understand why UGreen did this - it is to simplify setup and reduce cost so you don't need a separate DP->HDMI adapter in case you have 2 HDMI monitors. But it uses more space in the dock - space that could have been used for other ports - All downstream USB on front - this choice increases cable clutter. At least 1 USB downstream port should be on the rear so cables can be cleanly routed for wired keyboard - No Ethernet - the only way to get Ethernet is an add-on USB->Ethernet dongle which increases cable clutter and cost - No SD card reader - not a big deal since photographers that really need this will buy a good discrete one - No audio - again extra cable clutter if you get a USB->3.5mm dongle - There is a mini-USB port for a remote button to control switching between laptops. I don't think this is a very helpful feature since there is a button on the dock itself. Why waste space for this? If you mount this dock behind a monitor, then you can't get to any of the USB ports which makes it inconvenient. And if the remote button is the only visible part, there is no LED indicator showing which laptop is supposed to be engaged. Had they added an LED indicator it would have been more useful - 10Gb/s USB was introduced in 2013 - so why are we a decade out-of-date with only 5Gb/s? - power input is 100W USB-C - this limits power output to 1 laptop at a time at ~70-75W since ~27-30W needs to be reserved for the dock and its ports. It would have been better to accept ~140W input so that 100W could be routed to a laptop or perhaps split that so 50W could power each of the laptops simultaneously... i.e. charge one laptop while using the other In summary, an upgrade to 10Gb/s, removing one of the HDMI ports, adding Ethernet/audio and 1 or 2 USB ports to the rear, plus improved charging capabilities would make this a 5-star product. Does such a device exist at this price point? Yes. Look to the "Cable Matters 14-in-1 Dual 4K USB-C KVM" (ASIN: B0BW4N6776) - it's the same price (when used with coupon) and has many more features. It is a shame there isn't much competition at the $200 USD price point. But there are several offerings at the $250-350 price point with similar or better features including Startech, TesSmart, AV Access, SIIG, Rextron/Level1Techs, etc. Many of these are Enterprise-focused devices that are ugly and bulky. For home or office use, the Cable Matters and UGreen will certainly fit better.

Short Life Span
Unfortunately, this has to be returned. I wanted a KVM that supports USB-C. It worked great for a week. By day six(today), it would not display on the monitors. The monitors are seen in the display settings of the laptops. The only thing the continued to work was the mouse and keyboard. For the time frame it work, it was a great product. I just wish it had lasted longer.

Save Yourself the Headache
If I could give zero stars I would. Worked fine for a month or so but then started to see problems. first the external camera would go in and out.. Now it doesn't even register the monitors. Save yourself the headache. Look elsewhere

It just works
Not much to say. My wife has a gaming laptop (gets power elsewhere), and a work laptop (I don't think she powers it over USB-C. She can easily switch using a keyboard, wireless mouse, and two monitors between the two laptops.

Work the best
Work the best. It's just perfect for my home laptop and my work laptop. It seamlessly interchanges between the laptops that uses the same monitors.

Great KVM for dual laptop use cases. Only regret is that it doesn’t offer EDID feature to keep opening windows on switched off laptop unchanged. But for the price we paid for it during Amazon Prime Days, this is totally worth it. Super easy setup and comes with all the necessary cables in the box to connect to your two laptops. It only supports Windows laptops with dual monitors setup. If you connect your MacBook laptop to it, it will just mirror the display on both monitors. We have two client laptops that we use for their respective network access and this KVM allows up to switch back and forth with ease. Because both laptops have dual thunderbolt ports, we actually have a quad monitors setup in the office that two of the monitors are connected to this KVM with the other one monitor each connecting to each of the laptops directly. So we have a triple monitors setup for both client laptops. This KVM support dual 4K at 60Hz with no issues at all. The front USB-C data/power port is icing on the cake as so many peripherals nowadays come with USB-C connection. We have a conference speaker, webcam, ANC headphone, and wireless keyboard/mouse combo connected to KVM. Saving cost and time on peripherals purchase and switching. Love this. Highly recommend. Funny story. We’ve tried multiple times to purchase UGreen products off Amazon before, but this is the first time we’ve ever received one. For our previous attempted purchases, we’ve always received a wrong and totally unrelated item. We ordered a SSD enclosure but received a shower curtain from vendor not long ago. It made us wonder if UGreen is a real company or not. This time we’re really impressed with their product and we’ll for sure be buying from them again in the future.

Total garbage. I used this to switch my keyboard and monitor between two laptops. After about two weeks, the keyboard wouldn't switch over. And the monitor randomly disconnects and reconnects to my main laptop about 12 times a day (without me hitting the switch button), which is very disruptive to my work. I'm better off manually unplugging and plugging my monitor and keyboard to each computer than relying on this switch. This product is going to the trash.

Honestly not a bad product, but you really have to be aware that it only works with 2 laptops. I didn't realize at first because I had a double laptop set up, but when I switched to combined I realized that it really only works for 2 laptops. Otherwise it works decently well and as expected.

Reasons To Buy + I would say that because it's single cable to each of your computer,s it's more akin to a shared dock than a traditional KVM since your computers' connection to the switch are via a single cable instead of two or more, PLUS you get charging too. + Build quality is excellent + 3 x USB 3.0 A ports, 1 x USB 3.0 C port (all 5gbps) + Supports pass-through charging to the active computer + Supports output to 1 HDMI device and (1 HDMI device OR 1 displayport device) + Supports dual 4K60 out - I tested this with my laptop and dual 4K60 screens over HDMI. I only thought one port would do 4K60 and the second would only do 4K30, but that was not the case. + Has a wired remote for switching between active computers + Includes two nice data cables with 100W power delivery capacity (verified with my USB tester) + 100W power adapter (verified at 105W with my USB tester directly connected to the power adapter - output to the laptop from the PC port maxes at 73W (also verified by my USB tester) Nitpicks / Hit or Miss * The power cable is fixed to the power adapter. Would have been nice if it had a USB port so you could substitute out a shorter or longer charging cable. I found the fixed cable to be way too short for my setup. * The switch and the power adapter are relatively heavy for what they are. I consider this a good thing, but it does make them less portable for anyone intending to carry it in their commuter bag. * This kvm/dock would have been amazing if it provided non-switched networking capability to both computers (always on for both connected PCs) and could charge both computers at the same time. Yes, it would jack up the price significantly, but it would be a killer feature. For one of my desk setups, I have two dual 4K60 capable docks PLUS a KVM to switch between my work and personal computers. It would be nice to be able to consolidate those three devices to one. It would be even better if it had hotkey support via your connected keyboard to switch between devices. Having said that, it's sold as a KVM (keyboard video and mouse), so outside of using USB dongles/peripherals for missing functionality, I can't really ding the device for not having built-in networking, audio, sd slots, etc. Reasons Not To Buy - Your two devices don't support video and data over USB-C. Generally not an issue with newer computers, but not all computers, especially lower end computers, can do this. - Only the computer connected to the switch's active port will be charged - The 73W of power delivery output can't keep up with your computer's drain (it will still charge, but if the active drain is higher, your computer will eventually power down) - You need more than 5gbps bandwidth for the USB ports. - No hotkey support
