It’s alright I guess. I wish I would’ve spent a little extra and bought the 210 amp generator instead because this one doesn’t ha a dial to adjust the amps. It basically had a plug in outlet for your ground lead and 2 plug in outlets for your stinger, One ranges from 40-80 amps and the other is 80-120 so you can’t fine tune it. So if you’ve ever owned a Lincoln or a Miller this will definitely be a down grade if you’re like me and always demand total satisfaction. What I’ve done was if you’re welding on some thin low gauge tube steal like 1/2”x1/2” for a gate and your burning right through your material I recommend using the low amp setting and using a thicker rod like 1/8” and if your working on some thick material like a 3/4” dock plate then do the opposite. Use the high amp outlet 80-120 and if you’re having a problem arcking then use a smaller rod like 5/32” and might have to weld kinda fast. That’s really all you can do. I mean this machine can definitely lay a bead once you’ve made your adjustments perfect but for $999 you can’t really Bitch about having to take a couple extra steps. But since I’ve owned 2 other machines of superior quality then I think I deserve a couple minor complaints but don’t think I was too hard on the beaver last night. You’re mom didn’t think so either
