Love it!
I’ve been using this wireless Android Auto adapter in my 2022 Toyota Tacoma for a few weeks now, and it has honestly been one of my favorite car accessories. My truck only supports wired Android Auto from the factory, and constantly plugging in my phone was getting old fast. This adapter fixes that completely. Once it was set up, it automatically connects every single time I get in the truck. I start the engine, and within seconds Android Auto pops up on the screen without me touching my phone. No cables, no fiddling, no reconnecting. It has been extremely consistent so far. Setup was simple. I plugged it into the USB port, paired my phone once, and that was it. After the initial setup, it has just worked. Audio, navigation, and controls all behave the same as when I used a wired connection. I have not noticed any meaningful lag when using maps or switching apps. What I appreciate most is how seamless it feels. It turns wired only Android Auto into something that feels factory wireless. For daily driving, errands, and commuting, it makes the whole experience smoother. The only thing to keep in mind is that it relies on your phone’s wireless connection, so if your phone struggles with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi stability, that could matter. In my case, it has been rock solid. Overall, if you drive a Tacoma with wired only Android Auto and want true hands off convenience, this adapter is absolutely worth it. It does exactly what it claims to do, and it does it reliably.

Amazing product coming from HeadUnit Reloaded
First, this is an amazing product. It's completely changed my experience with android auto and I do not regret the purchase and so far it's been working flawlessly. But I'll be honest, I was pretty skeptical about this unit at first. Why, you may ask? Previously, I had a car with an android tablet in it with HeadUnit Reloaded installed on it, which was an android application that was a predecessor to both AAW2 and AAW. It had built-in wireless android auto in the software itself, but... it was not the most user friendly to use. Finding support was tad difficult, and it didn't help that the devs were busy cooking up AAWireless, so reaching out was tough as well. The app worked, but was slow, unreliable, unresponsive, and crashed pretty frequently. And since the app was pretty much abandoned so they can focus on developing AAWireless (at least to my knowledge), the app got worse as it couldn't keep up with newer phones/OS's. Hence my slight hesitation with this product. Now fast forward 5 years in a new car that came with cabled AA. I did miss having wireless android auto, as it was convenient when it worked. So I was skeptical, but I took the plunge with AAW2. And I'm pretty happy to report my experience with AAWireless Two has been night and day when compared to the old HUR days. It's much faster, fluid, super user-friendly, and stable. Comparing to a cabled connection, wireless AA is much more responsive and overall, a better experience, minus the slight phone battery drain. Luckily my car has multiple outlets for this so I can charge when needed. The customizability of the UI is a plus as well (was possible in HUR but had to reset headunit each time. Much easier with AAW2 companion app). Connection time seems to vary I would say, it's usually ready to go by the time my headunit finishes its wake-up sequence (~20-25 secs for me). If you are hesitant, just do it.

Best Android Auto dongle hands down!!!
This dongle is wonderful! Easy to setup and works exactly as it should. My phone seamlessly connects to my car within seconds without extra cables. Also reduces the wear on my phone USB port. Highly recommend!!

Buttery smooth in operation but takes about 30 seconds to power up
It works well and the packaging is small and hardly wasteful. Once connected the audio plays smoothly and the navigation is smooth and is better than the carlinkit with less delay. Setup is pretty easy to do. You just connect it to Bluetooth and you can use you android auto or carplay. The one thing I don't like is that it tries to connect 3 to 4 times and takes about 30 seconds to connect the phone to Android auto from being plugged into the USB port. Compared to the Carlinkit wireless android auto receiver it much slower than the carlinkit one which connects in about 15 seconds when plugged into the USB port. Also fair warning to people is some cars can still supply power to the USB port on the car when it is off and it will connect your phone back to the car through android auto if you are in range of your car.

Seamless connectivity. Zero issues.
Has worked flawlessly with my Volvo XC90 and Samsung S25 Ultra. Everything takes a little bit to connect up, but usually by the time I've backed out of the garage and closed the garage door, Android Auto is showing the map display from the phone. The unit is small enough that it fits in the center console with lots of room to spare. I've experienced no audio dropouts. There is a slight delay between the audio and video if you, for example, have a video playing, but since I'm not watching the screen while I drive, that's not an issue. The software is designed well and has a large number of configurations options. Installation and setup was straight-forward, and connectivity has been seamless. The only slightly annoying thing (and this is more a matter of Volvo's design than the product), is that since my car powers up the USB ports when the doors are opened, if I'm on a call or listening to something on my phone and need to grab something out of the car, the unit will fire up AA and the car will steal the audio connection even though I'm not getting in the car. Having a widget to temporarily disable the software on the phone would be a nice touch. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product.
