These vaginal PH test strips are handy to have if you are struggling with irritation or just "off" down there. Its nice to be able to keep an eye on the PH as you work to bring things back into balance. The Med Lab Diagnostics tests are nice because they are individually packed and come with cotton swabs too. You have everything you need to take a sample and test it. The only complaint is the little pad on the test strip that you put your sample on is sticking up where you open the packaging. Would be a lot better if they put the strips in with the pad downwards so when you open it you are not trying to pull out the strip and having to touch the test pad. Otherwise no complaints, they work as they are supposed to.

These Vaginal pH test strips are easy to use, and you get quick results. Each test strip is individually packaged with a color indicator chart on the package. The 10 count box includes cotton swabs, but you can use ordinary cotton swabs as well. The box comes with clear instructions on how to use the strips. I ordered these test strips because I am in perimenopause and was interested in testing my vaginal pH. Declining estrogen can affect your vaginal pH. If your pH is high (greater than 4.5) and you and your doctor have ruled out other infections and causes, you may want to research vaginal estrogen and genitourinary syndrome of menopause.

They come individually packaged and seem to work well. I guess the only way to truly know is to test when your ph is obviously off, which isn't ideal, but that just is what it is. Easy to use and the color change happened almost immediately, even though it says to wait 15 secs to confirm. My finger wound up directly on the part that you swab though, which wasn't ideal - I had to quickly adjust to get my finger off. I've only used 1 other brand so I have limited comparison, but I do like these better than the other, cheaper ones I've gotten in the past.

I agree with another reviewer that, it should be packaged in such a way that your finger would not grab the testing area . I feel it can easily manipulate the results . I think it is good to test your ph tho and always make sure everything is in check !

A post-menopausal family member tested this kit, and found the results to be accurate in showing a slightly higher Ph level (common for this stage in her life). Test kit provides very clear and simple directions to complete the test, and a test legend that is easy to read, with colors that match exactly to the test strip. The instructions also provide a helpful "Interpretation of Results" section for any abnormal results.

These test strips are easy to use and give fast results. The only complaints I have are that the direction that the test strip is facing in the package is pointing upward so I accidentally grabbed it by the test portion and the packages for the swabs are a bit challenging to open. I do not like fumbling around with packages when I am in the bathroom so that was a bit of an issue for me. Other than that, it seems to be accurate and the results were very fast.
