This dash cam was delivered quickly and is very simple to install. I only ordered the front camera as I have a truck cap and it is heavily tinted The only negative is that the wires that came with the unit is quite long so it is somewhat tricky to tuck in. I used wire ties to tidy it up. While I am in the driver’s seat, I do not see the wires and can barely see the dash cam. After installation, I installed the app and was able to view what was being recorded when the vehicle turns on. The picture is very clear and you can make out license plates of vehicles in front of you. From in front of the truck, the dash cam looks stock. Good job Mangoal for making a good product..

Overall, I've had a great experience with the Mangoal front/rear dashcam over the last 5 months - bought it in June of 2025 for my 2025 F150 Platinum Hybrid. The front video quality is fantastic (perhaps not true 4K but it's very clear and high quality). The rear video quality is as expected for only 1080p (it's certainly good enough to make out details and see what's going on behind you). I love that it looks like an OEM component and is very discreet, you don't even see it from within the vehicle. I check recordings monthly over the built in Wi-Fi connection to ensure it's working as expected. Installation is relatively easy all things considered. Initially, I used the included wiring harness to grab power from the auto dimming mirror, it works well (more on power below). Be aware, for the rear camera you have to run the wire behind the SRS Airbag in the A pillar when routing the wire to the back window. That was probably the hardest part in my F150 as it's a tight fit. The next hardest part was hiding all of the excess wire for the rear camera, had a tough time shoving it under the headliner at the back of the cab but eventually got it all in there. Regarding power...in addition to the dashcam, I highly recommend the Mangoal "Fuse Box Power Adapter" to enable time lapse video recording when parked. I bought it a few months ago but didn't have time to deal with it, finally installed it mid-November 2025. The install was a little challenging, but there are plenty of videos online with good instructions. I'll report back if there's anything unusual, but it's working as expected. Pros: Camera quality Value for money Ease of use Cons: Transferring videos over the built-in Wi-Fi connection is extremely slow, you're better off popping the SD-Card out Can't connect to built-in Wi-Fi while Apple CarPlay is connected (though that's more of a limitation with CarPlay)

Extremely easy install, powers properly with key, recording seems like decent quality and you can mute the device so it doesn’t announce that it is recording every time which is nice. Came with a Lexar brand microSD card and everything needed to make the install. Not a tiny unit, but I think that is intentional, by being a slightly larger unit with the same style as the rest of the truck it looks totally factory. Can’t even see it behind the mirror from the driver’s seat. Installed on a 2023 F150 Lariat Lightning
