I bought this blower to clear snow from our porch and sidewalk. My husband and I are in our late 60’s and 70’s. Shoveling snow at our ages is difficult and there is no help in our area. We do have a guy to plow out our driveway, but he can’t get any kids to ride along to clear walkways and this Michigan winter has already been brutal. The battery lasted long enough to do the front walk and the back patio. It’s lightweight, even with the battery, but powerful. We already have the 40 volt batteries for a chainsaw by RYOBI and are familiar with their products. We got 5 inches of snow and the air flow was strong enough to easily clear 160 feet of side walk, around his pickup and the back patio. It was definitely worth the money. It will of course be useful to handle leaves next fall

Awesome power! Very happy with the performance... It uses up batteries fairly quickly going full speed but worth it for the blowing power.

The Ryobi leaf blower is light, relatively quiet, and has plenty of power for blowing leaves. The only negative is the battery lasts only about 13 minutes when used on full power. I have found that I don't need to use full power most of the time, which significantly increases the battery life. I purchased three batteries (one Ryobi brand and two no-name Ryobi compatible batteries). Overall very happy with it.

Works great, eats up a battery fast but it does the job well.
