I’m very impressed with this light! It was easy to install and feels sturdy right out of the box. I’ve used LUTEC products before, and my previous one lasted for many years, so I trusted the brand again — and I’m glad I did. The 80W, 9000-lumen brightness is incredible; it lights up my whole yard, garage area, and driveway with a clear daylight glow. The motion sensor responds quickly and gives great coverage, adding an extra layer of security around the house. I also like that it’s IP65 waterproof, so I don’t have to worry about bad weather. Overall, this is a great product and well worth the investment. If you need a super bright, reliable outdoor light, this one is hard to beat.

My electrician installed my light on Oct 23. It is amazingly bright and lights up my entire backyard. It provides much better coverage and security than the 2 solar lights currently installed. I am very pleased with this purchase and am giving it 5 * regardless that on 2 mornings I had to turn the light off at the breaker box in order to reset it. When it was daylight I noticed that the light had not gone off after it's last motion detection prior to daylight. I am positive that during the nighttime hours the light worked perfectly because I was up and saw that it did. Since I can reset it, this is only a slight inconvenience. The light is well made and definitely a quality item. I would definitely recommend this motion light. I also recommend that a convenient on/off switch installed so the light can be reset.

Incredibly bright. You see, I have this in the back of my home pointing at a round picnic table. And unfortunately, it probably is going to be too bright for my guests. I probably should have got something with 5000LM instead. But after working so hard to get it installed, I just don't want to revisit this light for a while. It wasn't that the instructions were difficult in any way, rather, I just had to go up and down the stairs with a ladder, run back and forth to the fuse box many times because I was alone and didn't know which breaker number it was (and I have 70 breakers, finally I just shut the power off to the whole house. I did have to cut the provided screws in half in order to screw in the bar into my metal box. Back to the light... It was simple to install from a technical perspective. And each of the lamps are fully flexible to go in all sorts of directions. Plus, I was able to easily use the override feature which causes the light to remain on for six hours (for a back yard party). I was able to use the TEST mode during the day. When I tried motion at night, it worked the first time. I know some people are upset that the motion switch does not turn on from far away, but that is not a problem for me, because I don't want the light to go on unless it has motion within 15 feet. Bottom line... Works as advertised and you will likely love it (unless you are using it facing the street, or a picnic table, and then you will find the lights TOO BRIGHT). You will appreciate the brightness if you have a building, or at least a second/third floor to your home, and you have a very large space to light up. A couple days later... I am just updating this review to say that things continue to be going well.

Needed an update on light for the backyard. This light had good details for the price. It is hardwired, but easy to install. It looks like the pivot ball hinge can be tightened for adjustment. Looks good and seems fairly durable. Didn't have very many color options. The motion sensor seems to work ok. Woth the by so far. Now I can grill in the darker evenings!

I haven't opened this yet, but I have another one that works well. Bright enough. Comes on readily and shines a decent distance. Nice to have over my garage when I walk out in the dark.

The Lutec 80w LED security light is one of the brightest on the market at a competitive price. It worked as labeled when connected and mounted with no issues. The multi articulated heads allow accurate light placement. I replaced a 40w 4000LM security light to illuminate my entire 100’ x 50’ backyard, sufficient to allow backyard lawn games & swing set play. At low standby setting it allows clear visibility. The full brightness level is intense but not disconcerting.

This light is great. Very bright light and it has a great range of motion. Price is very reasonable.

Very bright light, easy to install. Motion detection is easy to adjust. The swivel on the head unit itself seemed a little loose but so far it’s done fine. Good price. Hopefully it will last, really like the adjustable light heads! My brother has had no about a year and has had no issues.

Installation was pretty straightforward. It comes with the mounting hardware and instructions, and I had it up and running in under an hour. The adjustable heads are a big plus—you can aim the light exactly where you want it. The motion sensor is really responsive. It picks up movement from a good distance (probably 60+ feet), and I like that you can customize the lighting modes. Right now I have it set to stay dim at night and jump to full brightness when motion is detected, which works great. The build feels solid—metal housing, weather-sealed, and it’s handled some rain and wind already with no issues.
