Bought this for my 5 year old and this thing moves! I think it is faster than much larger RC cars he has and we'll know for sure later when we race. The car is very responsive to the controller and a lot of fun to drive. Appreciate that it is rechargeable as we go through a ton of batteries with all his toys. Going to buy another so we can play with them together. Recommend!

Fast little toy — my 5-year-old loves it. It works better with the tracks, and you should make sure the area is clean because hair can get caught in the little motors. When using it on the track, you have a more controlled environment, but it also works on flat surfaces. Not tall enough for carpets (would not recommend). on sale for about $10 at this moment of review

This little car really is a hit with the little kids and adults like I’d recommend it for anybody who likes RC play cars are really fast and they work well.

Overall I am impressed! My first disappointment came when I realized the front wheels do not steer. This car steers with the rear wheels turning opposite directions. This definitely impacts the way it behaves. My second disappointment is the speed. Honestly it is way too fast for the way I would personally want to drive it. It rockets around in a very difficult-to control speed. Think more chaos than control. Third disappointment is the clearance. You got maybe a millimeter. This does not even drive on something like a car mat or the firmest carpet. That being said, if you are ok to only drive it on tile or hard wood, are looking for chaotic speed and drifting action, and don't care about precession than this is the setup for you! Especially considering the price. I was hoping to have small controlled races with my kids but there is no way that is happening. Instead they rocket them around the room and have a blast doing it :D

Works great and is fun to drive

Need 2 aaa batteries for controller and 5v amp charger. Has boost button. A lot of fun but it took a while to coordinate the left right controller with the forward back controller. I can’t wait to show friends to see if we can each get one to race. It needs a flat surface.

Such a downgrade. I have the majority of the previous cars, and lately, Hot Wheels got cheaper in their cars. First, the remote is tiny. Might be nice for kids, but the quality doesn't seem to be as high as it used to be. Then, the controls are binary, not proportional. That's a huge downgrade. Also, when you steer, it's no longer steering the wheels in opposite directions which cases the cars to spin which at first is a silly feature, but with proportional control it actually gives you more control and just the spinning is a fun action for my kid too. Also, the body is too close to the ground, it kinda requires flat surfaces to run.

Hot Wheels RC have inspired a whole new level of creativity for me, no joke. I have taken several of the track sets and put them together to build a whole adventure world to run these little cars through. Fantastic product. MORE PLS
