I have several Imalent flashlights. I usually love of their flashlight. LD35 on the other hand, not too impressed for the price.The idea of having a portable charger that can store away the flashlight is great. Not only you can keep the flashlight charged but also use as a power bank to charge other devices. But as an EDC flashlight, it becomes a burden. I will need to carry a day bag or a shoulder bag if I am going to carry the charger. Due to the set design, LD35 doesn’t come with a belt clip. You can’t clip it to your pocket or belt, another inconvenience. Without the proprietary charger, you can’t charge the flashlight too. The outer design of flashlight looks futuristic and stylish. But it doesn’t feel solid in my hands. It feels slippery.The finish of the flashlight is disappointing too. The led emitter is set slightly off centered. The hot spot of the beam is slightly off to the side and not at the center. The clear reflector also has a smudge from possible water condensation. Overall, I am dissatisfied with this flashlight at $60 range.

Bright and good life plus the charging case is rad!!

All the LD35 Premium Editions have an inherent problem with regards to not charging the battery. to maximum capacity. To which is different from one light to another, as to bring fully charged to varying charge capacity, from 4.01 to 4.19 volts, that is with my experience.Normal full voltage is supposed to be 4.20 volts fully charged as in the LD70 which I also own.This is my second LD35 Premium with the same issue. I've contacted thier customer service department of which is available (Only via email). They have has not been helpful at all. I've sent both back for refunds.Hopefully they can fix the charging issue on later models, as I really like the concept of the flashlight and charging case method. As the charging case can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices.However, as mentioned, I wouldn't purchase one right now!It would be a great light If it worked as it should, hence my one Star rating.

The media could not be loaded. At first I thought this item was defective, it was charged according to directions and the lit charged status bars. But, when I read the tiny instructions I saw that I had to give it 4 quick presses to get it to unlock. And boy! What a nice light! So bright! Charge level indicator tells you when the battery needs to be recharged. Nice case with magnetic cover. Perfect pocket size. Nice!
