I have a 350 yr old cast iron dinning room set whose finish had exreme patina. This product restored the finish exceedingly well.

I'm really happy with this silver gilding. It's super easy to use and a little goes a long way. Just rub it on. Nice silver color. I'm using it on mostly paper art projects so this jar will last me a long time! It seemed to wash off my hands pretty easily if I wash them before it's all dried on my skin. I just used regular soap & water. *Just remember to give it ample time to dry. I let it dry/set overnight.

I absolutely love this gold gelding wax. I have used it on picture frames,a table,candle holders and other pieces. It takes a small amount. I apply with a paint brush( a small brush like children might use),using a small amount, then lightly rub with a cotton cloth. This is the best gilding wax I have used. There is still a lot left in the jar. Absolutely worth the money to be able to change the color of metal or wood instead of purchasing new pieces. Great to give pieces an elegant look. Received in a timely manner.

This wax is a beautiful antique gold that I am using over black chalk paint. I’m a novice at painting and am trying my hand at painting my old end table and coffee table. They have raised ornate designs. The brushes that came with the wax are helpful when applying the dry brush method.
