Perfect fry pan.
Large enough fry pan for breakfast and dinner. Cleans well, cooks perfectly and not real heavy. Very happy with pan and price.

Great Pan for cooking, Dishwasher Safe, High sides and quality non-stick!!!!
I ordered this after receiving an order of a different one that I thought I like better...I returned that one and ordered this one. I like this one MUCH better!!! The pan itself is much sturdier with a deeper sides. The lid fits much better and it also has a steam vent on it while the other one didn't. The plate is not removable but that doesn't really matter as you can still take it to the table for a serving dish. Thermostat heating works wonderful and the non-stick coating is quality extra. The best thin about the whole thing is that the pan is dishwasher safe!!! Best thing ever!!!!

BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER AND I'M JUST GETTING STARTED!
UPDATE! I slow cooked stuffed cabbage rolls and they came out great! 2lb chopped beef, 1 egg beaten, 1 tsp poultry seasoning, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp cloves, 2 cups INSTANT rice UNCOOKED. Fry two chopped onions in oil or bacon fat until cooked. Mix raw beef with dry rice, egg 1 beaten egg and blend into beef. Add 1 tsp salt, pepper to taste, and other seasonings. Add one cup COLD water. Add 2/3 of the cooked onions (reserve 1/3 onions for the bottom )and mix well. Core cabbage heads and boil, cut side down, removing leaves with two forks and lifting them out of the pot. Rinse. Repeat until most leaves are cooked. Leaves need to be pliable, but NOT overcooked. With the leftover cabbage core chopped, pour 1/4 cup oil in the skillet. Mix chopped raw cabbage with salt, pepper, cloves and add the rest of the cooked onions and line bottom of the skillet. Make cabbage rolls. Scoop meat mixture and place at stem part of cabbage leaf, roll up and make sure the rolls are tight. Continue and add cabbage rolls on top of the cabbage mixture until all rolls (i fit about 25 medium rolls in this skillet) Chop one onion and mix with remaining chopped cabbage, add 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp cloves. Combine and spread over the top of the rolls. Add 1 1/2 cup cold water. Cover. I use warm to 200 setting (follow instructions for "simmering" and cook the rolls for about 1.5 hours. Remove cover and let cool. Best served next day. Based on the recommendations here, I bought this Presto skillet and used it for the first time today! It was very easy to assemble, sturdy and simple to use. I used an old southern fried chicken recipe with a dry flour dip and a batter dip. I used about 2 cups of vegetable oil and heated to 350 degrees. The heating device is easy to read, and as soon as the light went out, indicating the correct temperature was reached, I placed the coated chicken into the skillet and watched the pieces cooking! Surprise! No smoke! No splatter! No mess! I fried the chicken on one side for 13 minutes then turned the pieces over and fried an additional 8 minutes, turned it off, picked the pieces out and drained them. I let them "rest" for about 10 minutes and PRESTO - it was literally fried to perfection! The chicken was just as crispy as the KFC "extra crispy" chicken and the meat was so moist! I am impressed! I can see the potential for other cooking, including stuffed cabbage rolls, meats and other savory recipes! Like others, I would recommend buying this NOW! Don't wait! It's really a great product! UPDATE! I made Panko crumb pork chops in the skillet! I heated oil to 350 degrees. Pork was dipped in plain flour and then flour egg salt milk with a pinch of poultry seasoning (Bell's) and pepper - then, final coating of Panko Japanese bread crumbs. Make sure the chops are coated well. Placed the chops in and fried 8 minutes on one side, turned and did 5 minutes on the other side. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Let the chops REST for about 5-9 minutes. UPDATE! Perfect batter fried fish! Cod, haddock, scrod or white fish, thicker cuts about 5-6 4" pieces 1 cup all purpose flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup FRESH plain seltzer water 1/2 cup all purpose flour 3 cups all purpose vegetable oil Add oil and turn to 375 degrees - wait until the light goes OFF. That is when the oil is at the correct tempererature. Combine 1 cup flour, baking soda, salt and seltzer water with a whisk until smooth. Add more flour or seltzer if too thin or too thick. Batter should be thicker than pancake batter. Dredge fish pieces in DRY flour, shake excess, then dip quickly and remove from batter coating entire piece. With tongs, add battered fish carefully into the hot oil. Add all the pieces. Fry on one side for 5 minutes until golden brown, turn with tongs and fry for another 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and let "rest" for 2-3 minutes. The best batter fried fish ever! Why order out?

Great product, I ordered two of these, but the non-stick does wear out after a year of use
I just got the Presto 16‑inch Electric Skillet and I’ve been using it for a couple weeks, and it’s honestly super handy. First off, it’s huge — perfect if you want to cook for the whole family or just make a bunch of food at once. I made pancakes, grilled cheese, and even a small stir-fry, and it handled everything without crowding. The nonstick surface is awesome. Nothing sticks, so flipping or stirring food is way easier than with my old frying pan. Cleanup is a breeze too — just wipe it down or toss it in the dishwasher once you remove the heat control. The glass lid is really nice because I can watch the food cook without letting heat escape, which makes cooking less stressful. The temperature control is super helpful. I can go from low simmer to higher heat without guessing, so my food doesn’t burn. I like that the heat spreads evenly across the skillet too — no burnt edges or raw spots. It’s not perfect, though. It takes a little while to preheat, and it’s not the prettiest thing on the counter. But honestly, function matters more to me than style, and this skillet is built for serious cooking. Overall, the Presto 16‑inch Electric Skillet is really versatile, easy to use, and big enough to cook a lot at once. If you want one appliance to fry, grill, bake, or stew, this is definitely worth it. I’d totally recommend it for teens or anyone who wants a simple but powerful skillet.

Great cooking accessory
Works great. It’s plenty big enough for about anything you could use it for. It heats evenly and food refuses to stick to it.

Not to big at all….
I thought this might be too big at first, but after making dinners in it I found it actually is just the right size so that the food could be spread to evenly cook and season. It is also easy to wash. Makes cooking so much easier than just a regular frying pan on the stove.

Excellent purchase
I bought one for my nephew because the one I have is so well-made and has lasted so long. It’s excellent for anything you need to cook and don’t want to use the stove top. It’s generous size allows you to cook a ton of vegetables, big breakfast and casseroles easily. You are going to love it.
