Quality and Durability
This knife This knife is of superb This knife is of superb quality. It has a good weight, it is sturdy and sharp and very robust and durable. This is the 3rd small veg/paring knife I have bought in less than a year. The first one a Wüsthof costing twice as much, approx £25, which just wasn't robust enough to even cut a tomato or a mushroom. I then bought a cheaper Kuhn for approximately £8 which had very good reviews. This knife though lost it's sharpness very quickly and the coating came off the blade. I eventually settled for the Sabatier. My first set of knives I bought as an apprentice chef 40+ years ago were brilliant. My last large chef's knife I purchased 13 years ago, also a Sabatier, which has been used most days and is still fantastic. I don't think I'll look to take a gamble on another brand again. From now on I'm sticking to Sabatier.

Good knife set.
I have had this set for 3 years. I bought it because I have used this brand as a professional chef and I still have a large Sabatiere that is about 20 years old and still going. Made slightly different and the blade has a slight flex to it unlike my old one but hey ho the quality of everything has changed over the years. This is the best kitchen set for me. Used and maintained correctly. I sharpen mine with a block so it lasts. The wooden handled knife is the older Sabatiere. Good knives.

Perfect serrated kitchen knife
We bought a Sabatier knife block set but apart from the bread knife none of the others are serrated! It's the perfect paring size and perfect for cutting tomatoes!

Nice to use and sharp, all we need now is a means of keeping it sharp 🤔
The product looks and feels good and does a good job in my estimation, so much better than your big standard kitchen gear. However I’m not a chef, but still very pleased with it and will be adding to the knife rack with more of the same in smaller/larger knives. 😊👍

Waste of money
Got pits along cutting edge of large knife in the set which tells me there’s a problem with heat treatment . When the second largest knife broke cutting swede I knew immediately that there was a problem with stress risers caused in the heat treatment of the knifes Bought two sets of these , but didn’t expect quality to be be so poor Had I read reviews before buying , I would have gone for another knife set Waste of money ??? Without a doubt Don’t sabatier have a lifetime warranty, or at least a 25 year warranty?? Contact details for the company would be very helpful

EXCELLENT
I have had a set of Sabatier kitchen knives for 30+ years that are still going strong. Yes the same set of knives. Unfortunately the tip on my small pairing knife snapped off when it was used to leaver something it shouldn't have done. Still at 30+ years old it didn't owe me anything. Forget all those ridiculously shaped designer kitchen knives. These are the knives that with regular sharpening will last a lifetime. And they do. Perfectly balanced and comfortable in the hand. Solidly made. You cannot go wrong with something that has been designed for a purpose, looks like a classic and works effortlessly.
