Perfect for the small office
I purchased this laminator as I needed to laminate some A3 mechanical schematics I had drawn for displaying in a plant room of a building. As I had several to do, the cost of out-sourcing to do the same job worked out more expensive than purchasing the laminator and a pack of pouches, plus of course you have the machine for future use. It arrived quickly and set up was as easy as plugging it in and switching it to the hot setting. This machine will also cold laminate. The A3 pouches I purchased were also by swordfish and once the laminator was ready it was very easy to feed the pouch through. Overall a very good product and worked very well for me.

Does a good job.
I was wary of buying office equipment for home as I've had items that don't meet expectations. This laminator has been one of my better buys.It takes A3 and A4 size sheets which I'd recommend buying as it's useful to have the option.I doesn't takes long to heat up,you just feed the laminating pouches straight in.No need for a cardboard sleeve. The sheets come out smooth and glossy,it does a nice job.Good for home and office,I'm pleased with this item.

A4 compact laminator
Excellent value for money, I have laminated everything that cannot walk, talk or breath. Had 100's of my own pockets and did not use the ones that came free with the product and so didn't experience problems. The free ones did look kind of cheap. In saying that, I have had good use and the product is very good and small if you have a problem with space.

Doesn’t take 250 microns
So I paid a bit more for the brand because I have had a paper cutter from the same brand for about forever and it’s been really hard wearing and I’ve had no problem with it at all - anyway, that’s why I thought it would be worth paying the extra but turns out I was wrong! It’s no better than a cheap one, and even tho’ it says that it will take 250 microns that is confusing because it will only take 2x 125. So when you buy the pouches that say 250 they are 2 x 250 and therefore too thick for the machine, they don’t come out well. So I’m a bit disappointed because I now have a whole bunch of pouches that I can’t use and a machine that cost far more than it needed to!

Good value, works well
I am surprised by the number of bad reviews for this product. I have used the laminator several times now with no problems at all. It worked well with both 150 and 250 micron pouches. I have not tried it for A3 sizes yet, but can't see why it would not work just as well. It is a smart compact design and for a cheap laminator I would suggest it is fine for occasional use.

Would definitely recommend
I'm really happy with this laminator which I've had for a few weeks now. I use it in an office setting so it probably gets used more than one at home would, but still not overly regularly. We laminate maybe 1-2 times per week, 5-10 sheets at a time. The laminator is very quick to heat up (compared to our old one anyway) and due to its compact size the pages curl up less as they don't have as far to drop to the surface of the table on the way out. It's also faster than our last laminator. It has a hot and cold setting (not sure who uses the cold one but it's there!) and I use it with 150micron pouches and it does the job first time every time.
