You can't go wrong with Twinkly. quality products, quality app and not those "proprietary protocols". Home Assistant and Home kit recognize it right out of the box.

Wow! These lights are worth the money, they're little but boy are they BRIGHT! The colors are amazing, so many things you can do. It was easy to install, I bought some stickies for the wall and they look so nice. Functionality so far is 10/10! I haven't had any issues. It was easy to connect to the app as well. The wire seems sturdy and good material. Overall is a yes for me!

The form factor of these "candies" make them great for small projects, so you can place them just about anywhere as long as there's a power source nearby. These aren't cheap LEDs, either; the colors are bright and vibrant, and there's no annoying flicker the you frequently see with cheaper brands. Currently I'm using them to decorate my desk for Christmas. Setup was pretty seamless. For some reason it didn't let me map the lights on initial setup, but trying again from the main menu worked just fine. There are plenty of effects to choose from and I was able to easily customize one to use red and green colors. Some things to note: - Not HomeKit compatible, although it does work with Google Home. - Power adapter not included. (probably how they kept the price this low) - There's plenty of leading length between both the remote and first LED from the USB-C connector. - The plastic casing around the LEDs isn't perfect and there's a few scuffs, but I don't notice them unless looking very closely. - RGB only. There don't appear to be any diodes in the LEDs for producing convincing whites, so you're not going to be getting a very good candlelight effect if that's what you want. Overall, 5 stars for a unique product from a reputable company. Philips Hue (which I normally buy) doesn't really offer anything that's similar to these.

Great lights, love twinkly. They really should include the power adaptor though for the price.

This is an unfortunate review, but here are my grievances thus far with the Twinkly lights--I've had them for about an hour. 1. They don't come with a wall plug, and having the end be USB-C is a weird choice where most string lights use the standard USB plug. 2. The app is quite finnicky and disconnects from the bluetooth more than it connects to it. 3. Their wifi is non-existent and absolutely will not pair with my phone. 4. They use 2.4 wifi, which most things do not (standard for a lot of stuff is 5.0) 5. There is no way to use the remote that the lights are plugged in to without the app. If the button does anything, I don't see what it is. 6. The demo mode (which is what runs if you can't get the app to connect) is insanely bright and strobing. You either get lights that look like they're going out, lights that are trying to induce a seizure, or violently patriotic lights (strobing red white and blue). These lights are the cutest string lights that I have seen in a long time, but they just don't work how they should. They were also quite expensive to work as poorly as they do.

I learned about Twinkly when I was looking for a new Christmas tree and ended up buying one that was prelit. I was very pleased with the Christmas tree. Two years later, I now have a project where I want to decorate the house without exterior decorations and figured I could hang up string lights around our front windows. Was looking around for options and saw the Twinkly brand string lights. I bought two and they did not disappoint! It has design presets, they're easy to modify, and the colors are accurate. They work like the other Twinkly lights. (I tried a different cheaper brand and the colors on the screen did not match the lights, and it didn't offer as many true RGB colors as Twinkly.) Colors are beautiful and accurate. Setup was easy. No problems with mapping despite the fact that the room was a bit dark and there were some obstructions. Don't forget to buy a brick charger for USB C or a power strip with USB C plug. For some reason the packaging on mine didn't match what was shown in the listing so I'm posting the picture for awareness.

I have to admit I love Twinkly lights! I have some for my Christmas tree for a few years now and I love all the things I can do with them. I bought these to replace cheap fairy lights that didn’t do what I wanted them to do. use this product to weave through any garlands I have on my mantle. They look great, I was able to set the light pattern I wanted and the colours I wanted. Best of all because they are a smart product I was able to set a routine with Alexa so they come on at set time of day and turn off at a set time each night. Because they were a great price I bought them despite the fact that they are heart shaped. I was please to see that unless you are looking closely the heart shape isn’t that noticeable. This is the third set of Twinkly lights I have bought and I have yet to be disappointed.

Bought as a birthday present for my aunt. She loved it and says the lights are nice and bright and loves the colour arrangements on it. Might have to get myself one now!

Well made lights.. need a phone (USB) charger to work but one of the better products sold by Twinkly. Sturdy cable. Bright lights and controllable via the app.
