I used this item for the 1st time last night for 8 hours. The battery is still full, video clear & sound is good. I didn’t keep it running the full 8 hours because I only need it when I’m doing rounds. The clip is perfect because it can adjust to any angle. If your shirt is loose you can adjust the camera to be straight up and down. I am amazed at the low price for a good item. I was hesitant at 1st to buy but I’m glad I did. I didn’t give 5 stars because the directions could have been better and writing bigger to read. I had to look at the suggested YouTube video to understand this device. Other than that this is a great buy. Security Officers this is a good item 👍 👮‍♀️

Lucky with a big screen , i could view the videos files on the device . If you need view on phone , you need buy a sd card reader for phone . Took it to trip to Peru, we hiked the inca trail to Machu Picchu and it was very easy to take pics and videos, point and shoot, fast auto light exposure, fast to turn on and long battery, loved that I didn't have to use my phone that much to avoid losing it in the void at the edge of the mountain, all fine there until took some video in the train where they had a rock band for entertainment and it could not handle the music even thought it was clear and great sound, even at the street band with a small speaker the audio is fuzzy. That's the only bad thing about it, sad cuz I really wanted to use it to video my rock band rehearsals.

I needed a body camera to document harassment from a neighbor. At first, this camera seemed adequate, if bare-bones. The instructions were terrible, but it was simple enough to figure out how to turn it on and record. I was disappointed to discover that it only records for a maximum of 15 minutes, and it does not stay powered on long enough to get through a 25-30 minute walk with my dog, which means that I needed to fiddle with the tiny and poorly marked buttons to get it up and running again. I never was able to get the neck lanyard cord to thread through the tiny and curved holes in the camera body, despite trying to push/pull the cord through with a variety of implements. That left me having to use the belt clip (which doesn't work with all my clothing). That's when the design flaw other reviews mentioned immediately became apparent. If you install it so the clip is on the back of the camera body, then the person you're recording can see the screen and see that you're recording them, which could escalate an already tense situation. If you turn it around the other way to make recording more subtle, then the belt holder completely blocks the screen and prevents you from accessing menu settings or seeing how the shot is framed. More irritatingly, the belt clip was extremely difficult to remove, requiring needle nose pliers. I finally gave up and ordered a better camera after the battery stopped holding a charge for more than ~10-15 minutes after owning it for only a week. Overall, I bought this for a sense of security, and it ended up taking my attention away from my surroundings to fuss with the camera, and then the battery died suddenly in a situation where I was relying on the camera for documentation.
