Lights work great, and have a great range of color especially when paired through the app. The adhesive on the back is rather easy to work with and holds itself well. The only downside side would be how the lights work for music and sound, as it also can draw ambient sound depending on how sensitive you have the device set. But even with that the lights on their own are a great choice for a budget. Also there is a timer feature on the controller itself but i'd argue the on the app is a bit better.

This LED strip is amazing. Firstly, the COB LEDs make a much nicer quality of light than traditional/cheaper LED strips, because the diffuser coating them makes smooth, uniform light with no bright spots. The look is so much more refined and attractive. Secondly, this strip has AMAZING presets (over 140 of them) which showcase all sorts of interesting chases, fades and patterns. The lights are able to intelligently sense where the strip has been cut and designate end points for these patterns which create symmetrical motion, etc. Very gorgeous and complex patterns of color chases and fades which dazzle and are way beyond an ordinary LED strip. Next there's the physical switch attached to the cable, which also has buttons to change mode & brightness... Next there's the remote control which is much bigger and more detailed than other LED remotes, with many more buttons and choices. However the BEST part by far is the phone app. This app let's you navigate every single preset, see it's title, change the brightness OR saturation of the colors, save 9 favorites presets, rename things, even an RGB color wheel with corresponding Hex codes to select a color which *perfectly matches* a color of your choice. If you know the Hex code of your color, you can enter it and have it match your corporate logo / desktop theme / stage light show / you name it. The sticky tape backing on the strip is nice & thick, not a cheap paper tape (like I've seen on other LED strips) but more like a rubber foam material; it sticks very well and stays put. Overall this is by FAR the BEST LED strip I have ever used or seen! I cannot possibly reccomend it highly enough. My name is Daniel, this is a review by a real person. I used this strip to decorate a shelf in my bedroom, the shelf has this dazzling rainbow uplifting now, it looks incredible. I love the presets and favorites function. Seriously cannot reccomend enough. Buy this instead of any other strip.

This LED strip (24ft, COB WS2811, IP65, full RGBIC) is the best LED strip currently available on the market. It is the brightest, has the most densely populated addressable sections, has accurate white appearance without a dedicated white LED, has decent adhesive backing, and is the most durable and waterproof with their heat-shrink wrapping on the entire strip. The price is also fair since they come in 24ft rolls instead of the standard 16.5ft. The only thing it is missing is a full IP68 silicone encased version for wetter environments and possibly a longer lasting adhesive backing. I use these strips for both residential and commercial applications for my business and they have been excellent so far. There are only two downsides in my opinion. Once in a while, you will have a single LED go out, but the LEDs are so densely packed that you cant even tell the difference. The other downside is that voltage drop appears to be more prevalent when combining strips to create super long runs. I think its just easier to notice since the brightness is so high and the color is so accurate at the beginning of the run. Overall, these are the best LED strips available anywhere right now. They are CONSIDERABLY brighter than the 5050smd chip strips that have become pretty common and use the same amount of energy. Honestly, I have to turn down the brightness so I dont disturb my neighbors at night. They're REALLY bright. I hope Pautix eventually comes out with a more “industrial” version that is IP68 rated and has 3M VHB on the back so they stick to surfaces indefinitely. In the meantime, these are truly the best you can buy in May 2024.

I recently purchased a few different LED light strips for my TV. This is one that worked best. Lights up the entire wall. The USB is a great option that plugs directly into the TV and powers on when the TV is on. Can easily change the colors on the control panel or the remote. I ran this on a 65” TV

2025-05-29: Replacement lights are flickering and alternating color. Downgraded to 1 star. 2025-05-05: Seller reached out offering a replacement or refund, so I added +1 star. I tried a replacement. Will adjust review 3-6 months out based on how replacement works. 2025-05-01: Lighting quality is excellent, but LED strip died in 3 months' use.

I picked up this small LED strip for a very specific purpose – to brighten up the gauge cluster in an older car where the original gauges were ridiculously dim. The strip is extremely slim, which was perfect for what I needed. The light output is fantastic; it looks like one continuous, beautiful strip of light with barely any spacing between the LEDs, creating a gorgeously diffused look. Unfortunately, I missed the part on the Amazon page that mentioned needing a proper power supply. In my haste, I powered the strip using the spare USB port on a Chinese head unit in the car, thinking, "It's just a small light strip, I'm sure it's fine." And it was, for about 20 minutes. The dash looked amazing, lighting up like a Christmas tree, and I was thrilled with how it looked. But then, things took a turn for the worse. After driving around with the newly lit-up dash, it only took about 10 minutes for the light strip to blow the fuse in the radio because it was pulling too much power. Moments later, smoke started pouring out of the radio, which was extremely hot to the touch. I panicked, ripped the radio out, and found it completely dead. It definitely could have caught fire and burned the car down with us in it. To be clear, this was not a fault of the product – it was entirely user error. However, I strongly urge anyone using this light strip to ensure it has the proper power supply. Thank god this was just a project car. For those with the right setup, this light strip is a fantastic addition and looks incredible. Just make sure you power it correctly for your safety! EDIT 8/16/24: Customer service reached out and sent me a new lightstrip. I will make sure I use it correctly this time. Outstanding customer service brought my review to 5 stars!

EDIT for update at the bottom (leaving the original here so you can see my original problem and the solution) Unrolled it to straighten it out before installation. Everything lights up when plugged in, but the remote only worked for one button push (no matter which button) then won't do anything. Unplugging the strip and plugging it back in allowed the remote to work for another button push, then stopped working altogether. Put a new battery in just on case, still doesn't work at all. Decided to try the app, and it connected just fine, as well as to the WiFi. It would change colors, but not the brightness. And then after 30 seconds, the strip was offline and couldn't be connected to. Unplugged it and plugged it back in, came back online, the app controls worked for about 30 seconds again, and then it stopped connecting. Unplugged it and plugged it back in, and when it came back online, I deleted it from the app, waited a bit, then added it back to the app. Same thing happened. LEDs were bright, the whole strip lit up, but the controller on them was crap. Even the 3 buttons ON the controller don't work! ________________________________________________ UPDATE HERE: Pautix responded. The strip needs the full 5v and proper amperage for the controller to work. In my case, I had a multi port wall outlet with 3 USB-A (one a 3.0 version) and a USB-C. My phone was plugged into the USB-C during the process, and so even the USB 3.0 didn't have enough juice to run it. Unplugged the phone and it works now! I tried on another outlet in the next room (a newer outlet, also from Amazon) and it worked there even with the phone plugged in. Took it into my office upstairs and plugged it into one of the free USB ports on it and it worked there even with a bunch of other USB devices plugged in. So the issue was that outlet (which I'm now changing out). Now that it's figured out, I'll be buying 6 of the shorter length to do my kitchen cabinets with (above and below them)! So let this be a lesson: if it doesn't seem to be able to be controlled when you plug it into a USB outlet, make SURE that the USB outlet is providing full voltage and amperage. a 2.5 volt USB port will not work, and even a 5 volt one that is still putting out ~4 volts with other things plugged in will not work. Only thing from me giving it 5 stars now is that this needs to be clearly in the listing.

I was surprised that the product came in a bag; I thought it might have arrived damaged, but it wasn't. I have no experience installing these lights; in fact, this is the first time I've ever installed them, and everything went perfectly. I watched a video from the manufacturer on YouTube, and it was very easy. Now my desk looks so much better. I love it.
