What is not to like about this portable air compressor? Automatic set point allow you to set the pressure at which the compressor stops at the correct pressure. No need to kneel and watch a gauge while the tire inflates. Another plus is the 7 pin connector which plugs into the factory trailer connector on my 2023 F150. No more need to raise the hood to connect cables. Also, relatively compact and lightweight. Easily fits in provided bag. Puts out good volume of air for a compressor this size. Great job on the Digital EVC88P7 design VIAIR.

This works great. Fills tires faster than most options and can handle high pressures for HD tire applications. Heat shield does get hot but the carry bag can withstand it easily. Fits under my front seat easily.

Item worked as advertised. surprisingly quiet and inflated tire to required pressure. Love the trailer plug attachment, makes it easy to get to all four tires easily. Only downside was it was missing some of the small air accessories, but other than that, seems to be a great product.

This little air compressor is pretty cool. Plugged directly into your tow hitch electrical, you set the psi you want and go screw it onto the valve stem. I actually have built hoses that go to each tire then to a central line that connects to the compressor. I can air up all four tires at the same time, but it does take a little bit longer. Usually not a big deal normally need a quick break anyway to I get the compressor started and then start packing away all my other gear by the time I’m done with that tires are at the preset level and the pump turns off. Unless you’re one of those that need your air super fast or want to have on board with direct air connection. This little pump works just fine.

Day one - I hear air hissing out of it before it’s on. My tire is deflating. Upon closer inspection I see what you see in the photo. Maybe just my bad luck. But if there process controls let this out the door, what will you get? And unlike me, you might not find out when you are safe and dry with backup air on hand. YMMV

Absolutely great air compressor for my truck. Fast and efficient. Only would like that the cables from the trailer hook up to the machine be a few feet longer. Worth the money no doubt

Great little pump, love the convenience of being able to set the psi and simply plugging it into the trailer lights connector on my vehicle. Small enough to stash out of the way with a nice little carry bag and strong enough to get the job done. I am running 285x70x17 and this pump has no problem airing up the tire. The pump does get really hot. To be fair, I have not used it to air up all four tires one-after-the-other. Guessing you may need to let it cool down midway through when airing up all four tires.

Overall disappointed. After a lot of positive reviews I and talking to Viair customer service I purchased this tire inflator. The told me it would go from 60 psi to 80 psi in about 3 minutes 29 seconds. I inflated my tire using this air pump from 50 psi to 70 psi and it took 5 minutes 29 seconds. The 7 pin connector is handy but it barely reached my front tire and that was with the cord and air hose completely stretched out to the point the compressor was laying on it's side. The light on the compressor is absolutely useless as the power cord is only about 3 feet long. Given the power port is at the rear of all vehicles the light can never be used to shine on tire while inflating it.
