The cable allows for a lot more positions to be achieved while using the separate magnetic accessory, even allows me to attach my Disk Plus to the back side of my PC while it sits on the top. A NEEDED accessory for the Sharge Disk Plus, zero regrets purchasing.

Is exactly what it says it is.

I attached one of those metal disks to the back of my Macbook’s screen so the SSD could magnetically attach to it. This cable then runs from the SSD to the Thunderbolt port. The length is perfect to allow the screen to both be open and closed without getting in the way. Just make sure to attach the cable before mounting it so that you can determine the perfect location depending on your laptop model. It gives my Macbook a bit of a cyberpunk look without being too prominent, which I like.
