Works well...

I hooked up this unit and immediately suspected that it wasn't doing very much when the included PH strips weren't registering much of a change. To confirm, I spent MORE money and ordered a digital ORP meter to test the unit myself instead of just going along with the supposed reading on the unit's digital display. To my horror, I discovered that while the display on the unit read -460 mV, the lowest reading I could get on my new calibrated meter was +60 mV. To top it all off, by the time the ORP meter was delivered and I got over the shock of getting completely ripped off, it was past the 15 day return window, and the vendor (BigE) did not hesitate to wash their hands of the matter and was not willing to stand behind the product AT ALL. I've concluded that any modest change in ORP readings is likely attributed to chemical additives. I am currently exploring other possible recourse options...
