It’s in good enough condition for me. No it isn’t brand new pristine perfection and it’s just the regular black one, but it gets the job done down memory lane even though I grew up with the crystal clear purple one! Very grateful after taking a chance with all the mixed reviews. Came with a cute little note on the package that kind of made me giggle when they said to blow on the cartridge if needed because we all grew up doing and being told not too-funny. It works with two separate games so far. I’ve tried out 3 of 4 controller ports and the controller it came with plus two more controllers I bought off Amazon work well too so so far so great! Popped in a memory card into the 1st person controller and I’m pretty sure it’s working. Sound, controller and video are working so what more is there?! Waiting on WallyWorld to deliver some of their N64 games and honestly I can’t wait to see if they work on this device too!!! I’ll let you all know if it stops random working during this 30 days return period and I’ll let you know how some more cartridges work out too. 5/5 starts here.

the thing lasted long enough to play twice on third attempt it would no loger send a signal to the TV. I would not recommend this purchase to anybody save your money

I was pleasantly surprised how clean and new looking this system looked! The only thing that would have been better is if it had the expansion pak installed :P The accompanying blue OEM controller was clean and the thumb stick was surprisingly tactile and no drift. I can't complain. *Update* some games crash and experience graphical / sound issues from time to time. Being a previous owner of a N64 console years ago I remembered the issues the cheap chinese knock off jumper packs had. I opened the hood and sure enough it had the knockoff and not the OEM jumper pak from Nintendo installed. These suck and are prone to issues such as what I'm experiencing. Thankfully I already ordered the OEM expansion pak. When it arrives I'll test my hypothesis that the issues I'm experiencing are due to the knockoff jumper pak. Stay tuned. *Update (2)* So I installed the OEM expansion pack and it fixed all the issues. Not sure why the seller removed the original jumper pack, but if anyone has the same issues check that it has an original jumper pak or preferably the expansion pak, The knockoff paks suck and cause it to randomly freeze.

My sister knows I loved those old pokemon 64 games, and got me pokemon snap for my birthday, believing I still had my old 64, which was stupidly given away when I went to college. So instead of getting it from ebay or gamestop, not wanting to take a risk with all the horror stories, I tried amazon. And I've got to say, 100% satisfied! Comes with everything you need, system, cables and controller. Though the controller did have a loose joystick, its to be expected with older systems. And the system itself was pristine, except for one scratch about an inch and half long. All the stickers looked good, not frayed or worn out. Everything that came with it was original, except for the video cable, that was generic and unlabeled, which was no surprise, since after the controller that was the first thing to go bad. Plugged in and the second I flipped to switch to on, started immediately, no lag at all! One thing I have to get used to once again, is the short controller cable, but i'll live. Currently looking for the best solution to use it with hdmi, so i can take it around with my portable projector, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!
