Stylish but not a powerful as I would have liked in the recent heat wave

I took a while to buy this fan based upon the really variable reviews it had received. If you are like me, and unsure whether you should buy it, just put your order in now. It's a lot more expensive than a lot of fans out there, but if that hasn't already scared you off, you know you want this. You've seen all the pictures, doesn't it look lovely. Yes - it does, the pictures aren't wrong, it's lovely. You can set it up and feel the warmth in your bones, that smug feeling that you have a lovely thing. My main worry was that it wouldn't be fit for purpose, but it is absolutely fine. It is a little louder than some fans on its lowest setting, but it's entirely useable. I have it on in my office without it distracting. You turn it up (using the lovely dial on the back), and it does get loud - but that's because it is pushing a lot of air. But look - you've scanned all those websites, looking for anything else that looks as good as this. You know there aren't any alternatives out there. If you want a better fan, you should totally get some white metal monstrocity. If you want a better looking fan, get this.

This fan over time started to make alot of noise on low speeds, and the metallic circular piece keeps getting loose which is creating the noise. Also the fan fell by mistake and one of the blades broke off even though it was metallic - basically not usable now ...plus for this super high price it should be wireless and not with a cord!
