It is real coffee with smooth and pleasant taste.

I bought a 227 g packet of the Breakfast blend coffee and liked it, liked the light roast and sharp flavour. Subsequently, bought a 1 kg packet but was disappointed to find it was not in a resealable bag, despite the description, "Freshly roasted in the UK in resealable bags - great taste and great value." after a few email exchanges with customer service, they refunded me a discount, which was very good of them. I overcame the problem of resealing the packet with elastic bands (see photo), not ideal but quite practicable.

I love it. It's soooo good! It smells like morning breakfast to me, almost like toast with salted butter. Maybe that's just me. Either way, it has the taste of coffee I really like when I drink coffee, and has a really good kick if you want the caffiene to help you keep going. In fact, it's so strong, I tend to only do 8-10g at a time as any more leads to me not sleeping at bedtime! Honestly the best coffee I've ever had and still had to this day. I'm sure I'll find some other great favourites within the Brown Bear range, but this is a great coffee to recommend for those who want the caffiene and the taste of a good strong coffee!

Lovely coffee im.sure ..I ordered beans instead of ground by mistake ..need to grind them now !!!

To tell the truth, I've only given 3 stars as I didn't use them are all. I'd bought a few different types and strength of beans and fell in love with one that had a strength of 5. As this was a breakfast coffee and a strength of 1, I knew I wouldn't really enjoy it. I didn't open the bag and gave it to a friend. I don't know if she has tried it yet

REALLY good, I was on a subscription previously for a different brand that was atleast 50% more expensive, these taste the same quality and just as good. Seriously some of the best coffee I've had

Bought as a wanted a lighter roast. Nice packaging and branding - would work as a gift. Probablt won't buy again unless on deal as my local guy is similar price and always roasted within last few days. Relatively fresh especially compared to supermarket beans.
