Clear Hard Case for iPod Classic 7th Gen 160GB (Thin Model), 6th Gen 80GB 120GB

While I was hesitant because of the ridiculous price ($9.99+shipping is and will always be ridiculous for a piece of plastic), after receiving this product, putting my mint iPod classic 7th 160gb inside it and using for a week, I can confirm this case is indeed superior to the $1.88 clear plastic cases direct from china that you can find on well-known auction sites (believe me I know). This case is made from a thicker, higher grade clear plastic, and fits snugly with almost no extra room to move around in. I prefer this style because you can see the beauty and simplicity of the iPod classic's clean minimalist design. The ONLY flaws are that because the material is high grade, glossy, clear plastic, it can be slippery, so you have to hold it extra tight when transferring from place to place, and also that my aux cord comes loose occasionally when plugged in because the case is thick around the jack BUT my plug head is also large, so that's an issue than can be resolved. Overall, worth the price. NOTE: it's also superior to the discontinued Belkin clear plastic cases that you might see for $15 - the plastic on those, either due to age or manufacturing, has an ugly yellow tint. This case is totally crystal clear. Recommended product for iPod classic fanatics.

This case is a great value. It protects the "thin" iPod classics (7th gen) very well. I wish I could find one like it for the "thick" iPod classics. It also fits the "thin" iPod videos (5th gen), but not the "thick" ones. You've got access to all the right ports and the click wheel. The case is thick enough even though the click wheel is exposed, it gets some protection.

A little loose but a good price for a decent product.

I finally found a perfect iPod case for my iPod classic 7th gen, and I tested it fits the iPod 5th gen (iPod video) and it works really great. I finally do not have to worry about my iPod being all dinged up and scratched up by the time I want to just listen to some music or watch a quick video uninterrupted. It is a difficult case to get off because you pretty much need to get it from the bottom and kind of get the lower case to kind of bend outwards to allow some give on the upper part of the case and try to pull it apart inch by inch. But this is the type of thing I look for in a case that it will not just come apart on my daily use of my iPod. I really like it for the nostalgic factor and that it actually protects my iPod at all times, while allowing not problems with charing (with an apple charger) or even docking it if you still have a device that still supports it and you can lock/ unlock it with no problems and have access with you headphone port with no problems. Plus I would rather spend around $12 dollars protecting this retro MP3 player.

I wanted to like this case. Looks nice but I just couldn't get it to snap shut around my iPod 5th gen 30gb. People said it fit theirs but I don't know how. It's just ever so slightly too small. I was actually pressing a lot harder than I wanted to. I already ruined one screen but trying to close the actual iPod casing around a new battery that was too large. Had to replace the screen and use a smaller (correct) replacement battery. I gave it 3 stars since it looks nice and it probably fits other models.

Fantastic case for my iPod classic 7th gen. Doesn't hide the craftsmanship of the iPod. Very sleek yet durable. May scratch easily if you toss it around alot. Overall very nice.

Fits my 6th gen formally 80GB. After I took it apart to put a SD card in it, I bent the metal back and it looked bad. This case pushes it all back together and makes it look normal again. Looks great seems durable enough for 7$.

I got this not too long ago. So far so good. It's built well. It fits my 160GB iPod Classic fine. I like how because it's see-through you still get to see the colour of your iPod....I haven't dropped my iPod yet to see how well the case holds up but when I do I'll update this review.

These cases are rather magnificent in build and looks. I’ve bought three and I would recommend them to anyone.

Buyer beware, this case does not, I repeat, does not fit the 5th Generation 30gb iPod Classic. It was a bit too small and was unable to close shut. I don’t know why its advertised as such and had reviews saying it fit their 5th Gens. Y’all swindled me on this one!
