Seeds geminated quickly! Caveat soak licorice seeds in warm water for 24 hours. For a mistake ridden buffoon like myself outside pride seeds have never failed. Under the title I gave 2 exclamation signs so you know I'm serious

I purchased my seeds in 2021 and tried to germinate them this year (2026). I was shocked! The germination rate was excellent considering the age of the seed. I will have many plants from this packet and highly recommend this company.

I'll keep trying, but haven't gotten any of these licorice seeds to germinate. I've tried soaking seeds for 1 day, 2 days, no days. Tried starting outdoors, indoors. Nothing has germinated. Don't know if I received an old package of seeds or what. I don't ever have problems with other veg and herb seeds, but something is up with these for them all to be duds.

Great Seeds

Have several plants started so far no problems but only about half the seeds are germinating.

Lightly scarified with fine sandpaper, put seeds in a bowl of water and left it in the sun all day, then planted the next morning into pots inside my coldframe (temp inside frame was around 100F during the day). First three seeds to germinate popped up two days after being removed from package-- the rest within the next two days. Fresh quality seeds.

I have been unable to grow this plant as of yet but plan on it soon

These seeds were soaked over night then planted and put in a make shift germination tray, my big propagation tray full of spring starts for garden, so I used this $6 tray that came with a free rotisserie chicken 😂😂 Well package said 21-60 days to germination, the pictured sprouts were up in 3 days, wow! Very impressed so far and would recommend these seeds.
