I have a partial tendon tear in my shoulder. I am not a candidate for surgery but I was told I needed to rest my shoulder. The only way I keep it still is if I put it into a sling. I read the reviews and a decided on this one. It's easy to put on and the quality seems like it will last. As for comfort, it's pretty comfortable but if I wear it for extended periods, I don't love it...but I don't think I would like any sling better. It has a neck pad that slides along the strap, so you can adjust it as needed. There is a thumb loop, so it helps keep everything in place. It's lightweight. I'm 5'8" woman and it fits me fine and is adjustable. It can be used for the right or left arm, so that's a nice feature, in case I ever need it for my other arm/shoulder. Not sure what the directions say, but I feel like I could wash it too. If I could do 4.5 stars I would. I don't have any complaints and don't see any flaws, so I'm giving it 5 stars. It defintely does what I need it to do.

Recent arm & hand surgery with full large bandage brace surgical wrap and drain tube really bulky and the hospital sling was the basic cotton sling was not accommodating for this. The GoSports Arm Sling is really good fit stretch like material with ample elbow room for adult male. The support strap is padded and goes over the back around neck properly with a good Velcro adjustable fit. The thumb loop is helpful in length and this material is great because it doesn't slip like the cheap hospital one. Really great $12 price. firs, functional as in display. Helps with pain neck strap has longer movable pad for comfort and again for the price this is a great sling. It was very well packed with boxes and company information pamphlet.

Anyone who designs slings should have to first wear one for several weeks. They should be easy to put on with one hand. The strap should attach in the front and be easily adjusted, detached and reattached. Padded straps seem like a good idea but they add uncomfortable bulk around your neck and behind your shoulder when sitting or laying on your back. Slings should have flat straps that are sewn on in the back so there is no buckle to dig into your back. The fabric should be smooth, comfortable against your skin and thin enough to allow you to feel an ice pack. This sling meets all those requirements. My only complaint is that the arm support should be a few inches longer. I am a small woman. The arm support in this sling would be too short for larger people. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. It came with a shoulder pad and an elastic band that made it hard to adjust or detach. I removed them both. I have tried 5 different slings and this one is the best.

Well made and comfortable arm sling. I bought it to replace the basic cotton one they gave me at the hospital. It is easy to put on and adjust and the weight of the material is just right. It even has a bit of stretch to it. Very good price for a quality arm sling.

The wide part of the shoulder strap that is supposed to provide extra cushioning is much too wide, bulky, and uncomfortable. It digs into my neck. Otherwise the sling is fine.

For shoulder injury works great easy to adjust

Good padded arm sling. Lightweight fabric and easy to care and clean. It has a little thumb loop and a decent padded shoulder strap. All in all a good purchase and price point. Amazon delivered 2nd day which was a plus. It's a comfortable alternative to those thin cheap things you get at a hospital.

Very comfortable sling. Well-made, easy to adjust and can be used on either arm. The information mentions using it for shoulders and elbows but it also worked very well for me for a broken wrist.
