Really Helps Keep My Furniture Clean
I got this to use on my couch and dining chairs because they always seem to get dirty so fast, and I was honestly surprised by how well it worked. The spray barely has any smell, which I really appreciated — no strong chemical scent at all. It goes on super evenly and once it dried, the fabric felt totally normal. No sticky or stiff spots. I tested it out by dripping a little water and coffee on the couch, and the liquid just sat on top instead of soaking in. I wiped it off in a second and it didn’t leave a mark. I’m not gonna say it makes things 100% stain-proof, but it definitely gives the fabric a nice layer of protection and makes cleaning way easier. If you have kids or pets, this is honestly a lifesaver. The bottle is huge too — I covered my whole sofa and a good chunk of the rug with one application. Since it’s water-based and non-toxic, I felt comfortable using it around the house. Overall, it does exactly what I needed and I’d totally recommend it. East of use for all kind of fabrics

Maybe I got a bad batch
I really wanted this product to work. I followed what application directions there were carefully. I applied ProtectME to a standard polypropylene rug (about 80 sq ft), using the recommended 3.3 fl oz per 10 sq ft. I worked it in with light buffing using a soft cloth, and I applied a second after 30 minutes (this method is recommended for high traffic areas). I waited over 24 hours for the product to cure fully before testing. Despite all that, there was no visible effect. Water didn’t bead, and nothing suggested the rug had any kind of protection. I could smell the product as it was drying, it’s not terrible, but it’s not pleasant. So something definitely was on my rug, but there was no evidence that it worked as a hydrophobic barrier. According to the company’s own guidance, only certain fabric types require extra product or more intensive application. My rug doesn’t fall into any of those categories. It’s not natural fiber, it’s not outdoor-rated, and it’s not especially absorbent or textured. I followed the usage rate exactly, and nothing in the documentation suggested I’d need significantly more than one bottle. It’s frustrating that I applied the product correctly and still saw zero performance. There’s no coverage chart, no clear indication of what saturation looks like, and no way to confirm you’ve done it right until after it’s cured and tested. If you follow the process and get no effect, that’s not reasonable for $40 when competing brands that have materials that are not identified as harmful and still need to be tested, but there are other nontoxic brands and they cost significantly less than $40 a bottle. If the company’s position is that a second bottle is required to make it work, I think they should provide that, because I’m now locked in. Their own literature says you can’t reapply another product on top of this one for up to a year until the product is worn off, but how would I know that the product was worn off because there’s no detectable effects to begin with, so what am I supposed to do now? This has already taken time, effort, and planning. I wanted this product to work. If they think that a second bottle would work I would be willing to try it, but there’s no way that I’m paying another $40 for it though. I passed up other cheaper options due to unclear safety data, but also that no one had any complaints. In retrospect, maybe that’s kind of sketchy, but people couldn’t stop raving about it and I don’t even have a complicated rug so I don’t know what’s going on here. Maybe it was a bad batch or something. If they’re not open to correcting their defective product or helping me determine whether I needed a second bottle in the first place and helping me out there because I purchased this one based on what little guidance was available that this would be sufficient, then I need clear instructions on how to remove this product entirely so I can start over with something that actually works.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE & UNBELIEVEABLE
I have purchased 2 medium & 2 large size containers of this product. I previously spent $315 for a professional water & stain "repellant" treatment on just 1 love seat & 1 upholstered headboard. 2 days after spending that $315 my son spilled a small glass of clear water on the love seat & the water soaked right in. A total waste of a lot of money for nothing! Thought I would give this product a try after watching the video. UNBELIEVEABLY AMAZING!!! The video doesn't even begin do the product justice. I didn't buy the sprayer advertised with the product, I went to Walmart & spent $.99 on a large hand spray bottle & just poured the product from it's original container into the cheap, easy to control hand spray bottle. I'm a middle aged single mother who isn't exactly super handy around the house, but I have treated love seats & 2 entire upholstered queen bed frame, 4 king size comforters, 2 very expense upholstered recliners, linen table clothes, suede, leather & nylon shoes, boots & purses, 5 very expensive men's suits, kitchen & bathroom throw rugs, all kinds of coats, even very expensive ones that were already supposed to be "water proof", the entire inside of 1 sedan & 1 SUV with cloth seats. I have used this product on so many things the list is endless, I put this stuff on EVERYTHING I want to stay new looking or is expensive. 4 of my friends were so impressed when I showed them how well it worked, I've become the designed applier of this product. The instructions say you can use 1 light coat & it will work. I put 2 heavy coats on everything & it is incredible how it works. It's been about 3 months since I redid my love seat & this time my son spilled a glass of grape juice on it & the juice literally just grouped into little puddle & sat on the surface until I ran to get a cloth to wipe it up dreading what the end result would be. The end result was ZERO grape juice had gotten past this product onto the love seat. I have gotten 3 bloody noses during my sleep (thus why I wanted to treat my bed frame & comforters), & when I woke up, the same result. The blood that had dried already wiped off with a clean rag with nothing but cold water on it with a few wipes & the blood that hadn't dried pooled up just like the grape juice & wiped right off like it was water. I actually e-mailed the company who makes this, which is in Australia, asking them when or if they were going to get more product in stock for sale on Amazon because they were down to just the small spray bottles available, & they responded back to my e-mail in less than 12 hours with expected arrival dates of both the medium & large size containers. If I could give this product & company a 10 star rating I would. It may seem a bit expensive, but it's better than any "professional" equivalent I've ever had done, which has been a lot. Even with putting 2 heavy coats on everything it takes very little product for even big jobs. I've just purchased so much of it because now every one of my friends wants me to do all their items too. It is water based too so if you get any overspray on your walls, hard wood floors, car paneling, etc., you don't even need to wipe it off. It dries very quickly, completely clear & you can't even see the overspray at all. No slippery, greasy overspray mess to clean up & each coast dries very quickly (within a few hours) on everything I've put it on. As a very busy working single mother with a child, 2 cats, a dog, & lots of people traffic of all ages using my house like a revolving door, I would give this the PRODUCT OF THE DECADE award if I could. It is AMAZING!!!!!!

A Lifesaver for Busy Homes with Kids, Pets, and New Furniture
This stuff was refreshingly easy to use, which already felt like a small victory. With four kids, a dog, and a brand new couch that I would like to keep looking new for more than five minutes, I truly need all the help I can get. I sprayed down the couch and blankets with protectME Fabric Protector and Stain Resistant Spray and felt instant peace of mind. It is like giving your furniture a fighting chance against real life. Simple, effective, and exactly the kind of backup a busy household needs.

Easy to apply, no nasty fumes and does a great job at waterproofing fabrics of all types. Absolutely no change in colour, texture or look of the fabric after application. The trigger pack is a bit noisy when you squeeze the handle but it did the job just fine.

I got this for a light rug I ordered and sprayed it right away - Seems to be working well no stains or issues. I would recommend this as I don't think it could hurt any upholstery.

Love this product. Does exactly what it promises and simple to apply. It seems costly however applications per bottle mean it’s actually good value
