So far so good. Easy install, no leaks. There is a battery backup, but it shuts off the wifi connection if it doesnt have a source of power. The battery allows you to open/close the valve with the button directly on the device.

Unit is sturdy in your hands. Tested before installing. Includes brass couplings and wire and rechargeable battery power what a plus. Now I can monitor and turn off valve through WiFi where ever I am. Just finished install myself and all is good so far. Will only update review if i have a problem with unit.

The app supporting this is unit is not good, you can't choose custom usage dates, also lately no matter which month usage historyi look at, when I click on any day of any month, it shows me August. I feel like it an app issue and not a unit issue, but if you can't build an app for this, then it pointless to have it. I missed my return period, so I'm stuck with it, but I'd say stay away. I gave 3 stars because it does work and show usage, just not what I want to see and how I want to see it.

So far so good. It does need a ups though because if power is lost, the wifi settings are lost. Overall great device to help manage and watch water flow or disable the water flow.
